WWE RAW July 8, 2024 Preview & Match Card
WWE RAW episode of July 8, 2024, will deal with the fallout from Money in the Bank while start the four weeks build-up for SummerSlam 2024 PLE. CM Punk will be in focus after Drew McIntyre, and now Seth Rollins also seems to be pissed at him.
4 matches are announced which will see Jey Uso take on Chad Gable. A women’s trios match and men’s trios match are also announced for the show. CM Punk, Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins
Drew McIntyre was MITB briefcase holder for very short time as he cashed it in during Damain Priest vs Seth Rollins World title match. However, CM Punk interfered once again in his match but he did not only cost Drew McIntyre the title, but also cost Rollins as he will not get a title shot until Priest is the champion. Rollins was quick to show his displeasure towards Punk, which might renew their rivalry.
Drew McIntyre’s case was far more severe as he bulldozed the post-show and warned Punk that he knew where he lived. He ended up hitting RAW General Manager Adam Pearce when he came to try to control him. Drew has been suspended by Adam Pearce indefinitely. Will this stop Drew from coming after Punk, though?
Jey Uso vs Chad Gable
Chad Gable and Jey Uso got into an argument in the build-up to MITB ladder match last week. Both of them failed to win the briefcase at the PLE, but their singles match is set to take place this week on RAW. Will Gable be affected by Wyatt Sicks once again?
Trios Matches
Damage CTRL tried to target Lyra Valkyrie last week, but Katana Chance & Kayden Carter came to Lyra’s aid. This stemmed from two weeks earlier where KC2 were attacked by Damage CTRL after they defeated them in a tag team match. Last week’s confrontation has now set up a trios match.
Braun Strowman has been feuding with Judgment Day ever since his return a couple of months ago. Different members of Judgment Day have tried to go after him, but he has remained unscathed for the larger part. He will now team up with Awesome Truth(R-Truth & The Miz) to take Carlito, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio vs Zelina Vega & Rey Mysterio
Liv Morgan dealt with Zelina Vega last week to retain World Women’s Championship. However, Dominik lost to his father Rey Mysterio after Zelina sent Liv into Dominik to knock him off. This week, Liv and Dominik will team up in a special mixed tag team match to take on LWO’s Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio.
