WWE Raw episode of December 27, 2021, will be the final RAW of this year. Airing from the Little Ceaser’s Arena, it will feature a United States Championship match between Damian Priest and Dolph Ziggler.

The card for this year’s last Raw is quite stacked. Along with the US title match, the episode will also feature a rematch between Finn Balor and Austin Theory will also take place, Otis will take on Randy Orton, and AJ Styles will square off against his former tag-team partner Omos.

AJ Styles vs Omos: The former Raw tag-team champions will collide as AJ Styles will face his former tag-team partner Omos in singles action next week.

United States Championship Match: Damian Priest will face the former World Champion, Dolph Ziggler (w/ Bobby Roode) in a United States Championship match. This comes after Ziggler got a count-out win over Priest with Roode’s interference.

Finn Balor vs Austin Theory: In the most recent episode of Raw Finn Balor defeated Austin Theory. However, Vince McMahon guaranteed the latter that there would be a rematch next week. 

Randy Orton vs Otis: After Otis defeated Riddle and Orton defeated Chad Gable, Otis will take on Randy Orton in a singles match on the last RAW of this year.

Wedding Vows: After outsmarting Edge twice in last two weeks, Miz and Maryse looks a better couple then ever. And to celebrate this, they will be renewing their wedding vows on RAW this week.

Randy Orton and Riddle comes out to the ring to start the show. Riddle has a Christmas card but Orton says he is not reading whatever is on that card. Usual comedy from Riddle continues with Orton getting irritated with it. Riddle asks Orton to close his eyes and look into the future.O

rton says the only way he will have a happy new year is if he beats Otis tonight, and RK-Bro could only have a happy new year if they retain their titles at Day 1. Riddle continues his comedy and Orton cuts him off to show him how he defeated Gable last week.

Chad Gable and Otis come out. Gable says there is no greater threat than Otis, and that was the lesson he tried to teach them last week. Gable says Otis will send Orton limping to Day 1, and later come after the tag titles.

Riddle cuts off Gable and asks him what is the curriculum of Alpha Academy and what has Otis learnt. He goes on to challenge him for a match. Riddle tells Orton he has a special gift for him after they both win their match tonight.

Riddle vs Chad Gable

They lock up and Gable comes up with waist lock takedowns. Gable hits an armdrag. Riddle puts on a death triangle armbar. Riddle goes for a waist lock but Gable switches it around and unloads in the corner. Riddle fires back with some attack before Gable hits him with a dragon screw leg. Gable works on Riddle’s leg. He puts on an ankle lock. Riddle kicks him away and then hits a Pele kick.

Gable hits double chicken wing and bridges it to get a two-count. Riddle puts on an armbar triangle again but Gable grabs his ankle. Back and forth action before Riddle nails a ripcord knee to the face and then hits the floating bro to get the pin.

Winner – Riddle

Randy Orton vs Otis

Randy goes for the RKO early but Otis drops him. Otis hits a standing splash. He follows with a headbutt. Shoulder tackles in the corner follow. Orton goes to the floor. Otis charges at him but Orton sidesteps and Otis crashes into the steel steps. Orton hits a draping DDT from the apron. Orton gets ready for RKO again. Otis pushes him away and hits a body slam. Otis goes for the Vader bomb but Orton gets away and hits RKO for the pin and the win.

Winner – Randy Orton

After the match, Riddle says Orton’s present is a big hug from him. Riddle says nobody will get to know that Randy hugged him. Orton hesitates but then hugs Riddle.

Kevin Patrick has Kevin Owens with and he takes us to a message from WWE Champion Big E. Big E says he will retain the title at Day 1. This is his story about starting his life over at 23, coming to WWE, becoming the champion and more things. Owens gets frustrated with Big E’s promo and says it was not about Big E but about him. Owens says he took out Bobby Lashley with Rollins last week and claims that he will become the WWE Champion at Day. He tells Kevin Patrick to find another name by next week.

Reggie & Dana Brooke vs R-Truth & Tamina

R-Truth hits a shoulder tackle to start. Back and forth action and Reggie brings down R-Truth. Tamina tags in and nails a superkick on Reggie. Brooke tags in. Brooke hits a knee to the face and then hits kicks at Tamina’s legs to bring her down. Brooke hits a handspring moonsault. Tamina hits a back elbow to bring her down. R-Truth tags in. Reggie gets him in a roll-up and gets the pin.

Winner – Reggie & Dana Brooke

After the match, Tamina tries to attack R-Truth but he gets away. She goes after Reggie and Brooke but they send her to the corner.

The Street Profits(Angelo Dawkins vs Montez Ford) vs The Mysterios(Rey & Dominik) – RK-Bro-nament Final

Dominik and Ford start the match with headlock takedowns and armdrags on each other. Ford tags in Dawkins. Dominik escapes and tags in Rey. Rey hits a hurricanrana after running the ropes and ducking Dawkins a few times. Dawkins hits a big shoulder tackle to bring him down. Ford hits a dropkick before Dawkins drops him on Rey. Rey comes back with a sunset flip and avoids enziguiri.

Dominik tags in for a double Russian leg sweep. Rey hits kicks to the shoulder. Dominik takes the blind tag. Rey sends Street Profits to the floor and the Mysterios hit them with stereo dives to take us to the break.

Rey hits quick moves and hits a springboard crossbody as we return. Rey hits a lowdrop kick and Dawkins hits a flying tackle to drop him. Rey hits a tornado DDT and Ford breaks the pin. Dominik hits a neckbreaker on Ford. Dawkins drops him with a big punch. Dawkins hits swinging neckbreaker on Rey. Ford follows with a splash. Dominik breaks the pin.

Dominik fights with Dawkins and takes him to the floor. Ford goes for a gutbuster from fireman’s carry. Rey drops him to the ropes and then takes out Dawkins on the floor. Dominik hits 619 and the final splash, but Ford kicks out. Dominik and Rey go for the double 619 but Dawkins sweeps Rey. Dawkins hoists Dominik on his shoulders and Ford hits a neckbreaker on Dominik to get the pin.

Winners – The Street Profits

We get a recap of AJ Styles and Omos’ storyline. AJ comes out to the ring as we cut to a break.

The Miz is backstage and screaming at a crew member for bringing wrong roses. Miz tries to highlight the gravity of tonight’s vows renewal segment. He reveals that Eric Bischoff is the special guest for tonight. Bischoff comes into the frame and says this is must see TV.

AJ takes the mic and reminds us how Omos said they will meet in the ring, but he has not showed up. AJ says he may have been scared earlier in his career but he has never been selfish. AJ says one needs to pay their dues in this industry and Omos’ dues will be paid to him. AJ says he has seen so many Giants come and go and he has 20 years of experience.

NXT’s Grayson Waller is in the front row with a “Grayson Waller has a phenomenal effect” banner. AJ invites him into the ring and introduces him to the WWE Universe. Waller says since AJ visited NXT last week, he has come to RAW. He plugs in NXT for Tuesday nights. Waller says Monday nights will be better when Omos is done with AJ and he takes his spot. AJ says why not he give him a phenomenal forearm on his way out.

Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez come out to interrupt them. Crews says AJ & Omos were very similar to him and Azeez but they are still united. Crews says AJ’s time is not here. Azeez takes the mic and challenges AJ for a match.

AJ Styles vs Apollo Crews

Due to some reason, Crews has replaced Azeez in this match. AJ hits a dropkick and then a flying forearm in the corner. He hits a knee drop to the face. Crews hits back with a vertical suplex. Crews hits a big back body drop. Crews slams him into the corner.

AJ tries to fire back with an elbow. Crews drops him with a back elbow and whips him to the corner. They get to the floor. Crews drops him face first on the apron. We cut to a break.

AJ is trying to fight back with back elbows. He nails Crews with a Pele kick. AJ with a flurry of strikes and then hits a brainbuster on his knees. Apollo counters the Styles clash and hits a powerbomb for a near fall. AJ hits an inverted DDT. AJ was getting ready for the Phenomenal Forearm but Azeez pulls Apollo out.

Apollo drops AJ on the apron with a driver. AJ kicks out of a near fall. Apollo sets up at the top. AJ slips out but Apollo nails him with an enziguiri. Back and forth action and AJ hits the Styles clash for the pin and the win.

Winner – AJ Styles

After the match, AJ escapes as Azeez tries to attack him. Azeez checks on Apollo and then turns to a phenomenal forearm from AJ.

We get a video from Seth Rollins where he raises question whether only Kevin Owens can be credited with bringing down Lashley and Big E last week. Rollins says he is in a giving spirit this holiday season and Owens can get all the credit. But he will take what is rightfully his at WWE Day 1 and become the WWE Champion.

KO says he is the only one out of the four competitors for the title match to be here tonight. He is smarter than Rollins, tougher than Big E and stronger than Lashley. Owens says Lashley’s head was stomped into the steel and Big E got speared by Lashley before that. KO says he and Rollins are working together right now, so, he will become the WWE Champion.

MVP comes out to the stage and cuts a promo. He warns KO for Hurt lock from Lashley. He reads a message from Lashley which said any one of the Big E, Rollins or Owens will get into the Hurt lock. MVP and Owens try to insult each other until Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin come out to the stage.

Cedric and Shelton say that one man cannot fight three, and recall that Lashley was at his best when he was rolling with them. KO tells them to cut the chase and tells Cedric to face him in the ring. The match is set and will start after the break.

Kevin Owens vs Cedric Alexander

Owens drops Cedric and hits a standing senton. He whips Cedric to the corner and hits a running tackle. Owens goes to the top but Cedric gets to the floor. Cedric hits a big boot to Owens on the apron and then hits a lariat to drop Owens on the apron. Cedric geos for a side suplex but Owens counters with a neckbreaker.

Cedric hits an enziguiri to send Owens to the floor and then a suicide dive. Cedric drops KO face first into the mat. Owens runs over Cedric with a big lariat. Owens follows with a powerbomb and a stunner to get the pin.

Winner- Kevin Owens

After the match, Shelton Benjamin gets into the ring and challenges KO for a match. KO hits him with a stunner. MVP is watching from the commentary.

Damian Priest(c) vs Dolph Ziggler – United States Championship Match

Priest slams Ziggler to the corner. He runs him over with a back elbow. US champ continues to be in control until he misses a flying back elbow in the corner. Ziggler slams his face at one corner to another. Priest drops him to the floor. Ziggler tries to drop him on the barricade but Priest throws him into the timekeeper’s area to take us to the break.

Ziggler in control as we return. He misses a flying elbow in the corner. Ziggler manages to hit zigzag to get a two-count. Priest fires back with uppercuts. He brings down Ziggler with a leg lariat and then nails flying back elbows in the corner. Priest hits a back body drop and a broken arrow for a two-count.

Priest was looking for a chokeslam but Ziggler gets to the ropes and nails him with an eblow. Back and forth action and Ziggler hits Priest with a DDT for another two-count. Priest starts to hulk up now as Ziggler slaps him. Priest starts raining down punches and elbows on Ziggler. Priest continues to beat him up in the corner. The referee tries to stop and counts till 5 before calling for a disqualification.

Winner -Dolph Ziggler(by disqualification, Priest retains the title)

After the match, Priest is still angry and continues to beat up Ziggler on the floor. He drops Ziggler over the barricade as the segment comes to an end.

Miz and Maryse Renew Wedding Vows

Eric Bischoff is in the ring which is decorated for the wedding segment. Bischoff says they keep the sanctity of marraige in their industry and this couple is the best example of that. He brings out the must see superstar – The Miz. Miz almost slips on the stairs. Bischoff brings out Maryse. Both bride and groom are dressed in all white.

Miz says this is the best way to commorate last RAW of this year and in an honor of what he is going to do to Edge at Day 1, they are here to renew their vows. Miz mocks Detriot before saying it does not matter where they are, but it matters who they are with. Maryse does her vows. She says she knew that Miz was the men of her dream right when she met him. She adds that at Day 1 Miz will prove that he is a better wrestler than Edge. Miz gets emotional hearing this.

Miz says when they met in 2006, Maryse did not know any English, so he is going to recite his vows in French. He starts but Maryse tells him that he is speaking Spanish and can continue in English now. Miz says his vows and then says their love making is like fireworks. Bischoff says the ceremony was beautiful and then asks of anyone has any objection. Bischoff then says we all know how this will end.

Edge’s music hits and he comes out to the ring. Edge says before he beat Miz at Day 1, he will embarrass him. He waves to the back but nobody comes out. Edge then laughs and says he was just playing mind games. He asks whether Miz wanted it be an all white wedding. The brood music starts and Edge leaves the ring. Miz and Maryse are right in the center of the rind looking around. Dark black blood fall on them from the top. Edge laughs as Miz and Maryse scamble to get to their feet. The show goes off the air.
