WWE RAW August 28, 2023, Preview & Match Card
WWE Raw episode of August 28, 2023, is set to feature a Falls Count Anywhere match between Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark as it continues the buildup to WWE Payback 2023.
Tomasso Ciampa will return to action against Bronson Reed. Chad Gable will face Ludwig Kaiser in a singles match whereas New Day will take on the Vikings Raider in a tag team action. Becky Lynch vs Zoey Stark
Becky Lynch is set to face Trish Stratus in a Steel Cage Match at WWE Payback. But before that, she will face Zoey Stark in a Falls Count Anywhere match this Monday. Last week on Raw, Stratus & Stark confronted Lynch and the latter revealed this match. They already faced each other twice and currently stand at 1-1. Will Becky be able to get the much-needed momentum by defeating Stark?
Chad Gable vs Ludwig Kaiser
Last week, Chad Gable became the first person to beat Gunther on the main roster. He defeated Gunther via count out and hence the titles did not change hands. Now, this week, he is set to face another member of the Imperium in the form of Ludwig Kaiser. These two faced each other on the August 14 episode of Raw as well where Gable emerged victorious. Will he be able to do it again?
Tommaso Ciampa vs Bronson Reed
The rivalry between Tommaso Ciampa and Bronson Reed has been going on since July when The Miz was able to defeat Ciampa after an interference from Reed. Now, these two are set to settle their issues inside the squared circle as they face each other in a singles match. Will Tommaso Ciampa be able to defeat Bronson Reed?

Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods recently defeated Glass-Bros (Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle) due to interference from the Viking Raiders. Later the same night, New Day told McIntyre & Riddle that they would take care of the Viking Raiders this Monday when they will face them in a tag team match.
What Else to Expect?
The build-up for Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura match at Payback will surely continue. Nakamura had attacked Rollins twice in the last three weeks without much answer from Rollins’ side.
