Welcome to ITN’s Live blog for WWE Fastlane 2021 PPV as we bring you the Live Results, Updates, winners, highlights and videos from the show.
This show is going to be the last main roster PPV before WrestleMania 37 and many storylines will continue to the buildup for that event. We will cover the pre-show and main show for Fastlane 2021 here.
WWE Fastlane 2021 Quick Results
- Riddle(c) defeated Mustafa Ali to retain WWE United States Championship(pre-show).
- Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax(c) defeated Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair to retain WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
- Big E(c) defeated Apollo Crews to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship.
- Braun Strowman defeated Elias.
- Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura.
- Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus in a No Holds Barred Match.
- Alexa Bliss defeated Randy Orton.

WWE Fastlane 2021 Pre-Show
You can catch the kick-off pre-show for Fastlane in the above video. The pre-show is live now with the host Kayla Braxton alongside Booker T, Jerry Lawler & Peter Rosenberg. Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon is confirmed for tonight.
The panel discuss the matches one by one. Earlier today, Shane McMahon is said to have suffered an injury. Sarah Schreiber is backstage outside the trainer’s room. She says Shane is currently being evaluated.
Seth Rollins talks about Nakamura and says nothing surprises him around here anymore. He adds Nakamura is better than coming after him. He takes shots at both Cesaro and Nakamura for a while.
Riddle vs Mustafa Ali(c) – WWE United States Championship
Ali rolls out of the ring just after the bell rings. They lock-up after he returns and takes Riddle to the corner. Riddle grounds him and hits a gutwrench and a broton to get a two-count. Ali catches the ropes to stop a move. Riddle slams him in the middle and goes for a senton but Ali gets his feet up. Riddle is sent to the ringpost. Ali boasts of the damage he has caused in front of RETRIBUTION.
Riddle tries to fight back but Ali hurts his ribs. Ali wraps his leg around the ribs to hurt them some more. Riddle tries for Bro-derek but Ali sends him into the turnbuckle to keep the control. Ali with some chops in the corner. Riddle counters the whip but misses in the corner. Ali with a knee to get a two-count. Ali keeps him grounded for a while. Riddle counters with a kirifuda clutch. Ali rolls up but gets only two.
Riddle runs hot with broton, PK kick, final flash knee and other quick moves. He goes for the broton from the top but Ali gets his knees up. Ali goes to the top. Riddle catches him and drop him in a gutwrench suplex. Riddle goes for the pin but Ali gets him in a submission. Riddle struggles for a while as he tries to reach the ropes. He uses his power and slams Ali in the middle to break the move. Riddle goes to the top. Ali swings and misses. Riddle catches Ali and hits the avalanche Broderek to get the pin and the win.
Winner – Riddle(retains the US title)
After the match, Riddle goes to the back while RETRIBUTION gets in to check on Ali. Ali starts shouting something at the group. Reckoning becomes the first one to stand up to Ali. She leaves Ali standing as she leaves to the back. Slapjack also follows the suit. Ali snaps at T-Bar & Mace now. Mace gets in his face before joining T-Bar to hit a double chokeslam on Ali. T-Bar & Mace leave while Ali is down in the ring.
WWE Fastlane 2021 Main Show
Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax(c) vs Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Sasha and Baszler starts the match. Sasha starts aggresively and takes Baszler to her corner. Bianca comes in and continues with the same aggression as she hits a big shoulder tackle in the corner. Baszler avoids a slam and they run the ropes for a while. Bianca tries for a few backslide pin attempts but could not get the pin. Baszler slam Bianca and Nia tags in.
Sasha runs into Nia. Sasha tags in Bianca after she hits a hurricanrana. Bianca was sent to the apron where Baszler distracts her for Nia to attack. The heels now take over Bianca and keep her under control for a few minutes. Tags in and outs for Nia & Shayna. Bianca finally counters a double team. Sasha gets the hot tag.
Sasha hits the meteora in the corner on both opponents. She sends down Nia to the floor. Sasha drops Baszler to get a two-count. Bianca tags in and hits shooting star press. But Reginald distracts the referee. Sasha tries to take him out but misses a move. Bianca ends up dropping him from the apron.
Baszler catches Bianca in the kirifuda clutch now. Baszler comes out of the move after some struggle. Sasha hits running knees on Nia as she tries to come in. Bianca & Sasha start to argue over Reginald once again. Bianca goes out to the corner. Just then, Baszler rolls up Sahsa for the pin. Nia has caught Bianca so that she could not break the pin.
Winners- Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax(retains Women’s Tag Team Championship)
After the match, Bianca & Sasha gets into an argument again. Sasha slaps Bianca across the face and leaves the ring. Sasha raises the SmackDown Women’s title in the air while Bianca points to the WrestleMania sign.
Backstage, Shane McMahon has his knees bandaged as he leaves the doctor’s room. Elias & Jasxon Ryker meet him as he comes out. It looks like either of Elias or Ryker will face Strowman now.
Big E(c) vs Apollo Crews – WWE Intercontinental Championship
We get the hype video package for this match. Both men enter. Both men start with punches. Apollo gets better of that exchange but Big E hits him with a big spear when he was on the apron. Both men crash to the floor. Big E kicks at Apollo while he is down on the apron. Big E with a splash on the apron. He talks some trash before hitting another splash at the apron. Back inside, Apollo hits a punch but eats a few punches himself.
Big E hits a few German Suplex now. The pace has been slow after the first few seconds. Apollo cuts off Big E’s charge with a kick to the knee. He hits the trio of German suplexes. He covers but Big E kicks out at two. Apollo with a big spinebuster and follows with a splash from the top. Big E fights out of a bear hug but eats an enziguiri. Big E gets his knees up on the standing moonsault.
Apollo manages to counter a slam. They get tangles in the pin attempt and this leads to double-pin situation. The referee counts to three for Big E and he retains the title.
Winner – Big E
Apollo hits him at the back of his neck just as the bell rings. Apollo hits a few Olympic slams on Big E as he beat him up. He leaves the ring with Big E down in the middle.
Braun Strowman vs Elias
Elias tries to rain down punches on Strowman. But Strowman throws him around the ring. Elias leaves to the floor for a breather. Strowman picks him up and bring him in the ring. Strowman with a corner splash on him. He beats him up for a while before going for another corner splash.
Ryker pulls Elias out before Strowman could hit the splash. Strowman goes for the running train. Ryker avoids it but Elias is run down. Strowman gets back to the ring now. Ryker sends Elias back to the ring after a few seconds. Ryker distracts Strowman as Elias takes out his knee. Elias with a splash from the top to get a two-count. Strowman drops Elias before hitting the powerslam to get the pin.
Winner – Elias
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Seth Rollins
Rollins starts with a head lock. Nakamura gets out of it and kicks at Rollins. Nakamura beat up Rollins a bit. Rollins comes out of the headlock now and kicks at Nakamura’s face. Nakamura rolls up and Rollins hits the knee dive to his face. Nakamura gets slammed to the announce table before they move back to the ring.
Rollins continues to be in control with a few shoulder thrusts. Rollins with a backbreaker to get a two-count. Nakamura tries to fight back but Rollins hits him with double ax and hits a knee drop to keep him grounded. Rollins shouts at the commentators that Cesaro swung him 22 times. Rollins tries to put Nakamura in the swing.
Nakamura counters it into a submission move. Rollins slips out and Nakamura starts hitting him wit move after move. Kick to the face, a knee drop on the apron. Back to the ring, Rollins triest to counter in the corner but eats more kicks. German suplex from Nakamura gets him a two-count. Nakamura gets his feet up in the corner and moves to the outside. Seth hits a suicide dive on him. Knee strike from springboard and swingblade follows for a two-count.
Rollins was going for the suplex but Nakamura makes him work for it. They start to trade strikes in the middle now. Nakamura hits a big punch but Rollins returns with an enziguiri. Nakamura hits a big kick to the face and then hits the sliding German suplex. Rollins avoids the kinshasa and hits the bucklebomb. Rollins follows up with the falcon arrow for a two-count.
Rollins goes for the stomp but Nakamura counters with the falcon arrow. He hits the reverse exploder and goes for the kinshasa again. Rollins manages to avoid it. Rollins kicks at Nakamura’s knee which sets up the stomp to get the win.
Winner – Seth Rollins
Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus – No Holds Barred Match
Drew McIntyre is in blue & white facepaint. Drew strikes first and they go at it. Sheamus with a high knee but Drew tosses him over his head, and another toss across the ring from the corner. Drew clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. Sheamus takes out Drew’s leg on the apron to bring him down. Sheamus works Drew over and launches him into the barrier.
Drew counters on the floor with a big overhead belly-to-belly at ringside. Drew with a big chop against the announce table, and a right hand. Drew rams Sheamus into the ring post. Drew takes apart the announce table now. He looks to use the top of the table but drops it, then goes under the ring and tosses a bunch of kendo sticks in the ring. Sheamus decks him as soon as he throws them in. Sheamus runs Drew face-first into the ring post now. Sheamus swings a kendo stick but Drew ducks and it hits the post. Drew with another big overhead throw at ringside. Drew launches Sheamus down into the steel ring steps.
Drew with a big stomp on top of the steel. Drew keeps control and brings it back in. Drew follows with a kendo stick but Sheamus nails a huge kick into Drew and the weapon. Drew kicks out at 2. Sheamus picks up another stick and unloads on Drew while he’s down. Sheamus talks some trash while beating Drew around with the kendo stick. Sheamus with a shot to the chest to put Drew back down. Sheamus grinds the kendo stick in Drew’s mouth now, pulling back on it.
McIntyre comes back with Glasgow kiss. He picks up the kendo stick and Sheamus hits it to the back. Drew uses the stick to hurt Sheamus’s eyes for a bit. Sheamus moves to the floor. McIntyre goes after him but Sheamus trips him onto the steel steps. Sheamus runs McIntyre down with the steel step. He clear the announce table now. Sheamus gets ready for the white noise on top of the announce table but McIntyre counters and throws him into the barricade.
The action now moves beyond the barricades. McIntyre was looking to suplex Sheamus on the concrete floor but Sheamus hits the suplex instead. There are now amid the Thunderdome screens. Sheamus is in control with some big strikes. McIntyre comes back with a few punches. Sheamus hits the rolling senton on the Thunderdome floor. Sheamus was going for another senton but McIntyre throws him into the screen.
McIntyre takes Shaemus in the area near the ring. He hits a suplex on the concrete floor before taking him back near the announce table. Shaemus rakes his eyes and hits the Brogue kick. McIntyre lands over the barricade. Sheamus shots at him that it should be him at WrestleMania. Sheamus takes his time to setup. He hits the white noise on McIntyre from the barricade to the announce table.
Shaemus gets back to his feet and drags McIntyre back to the ring. This is awesome chants are ongoing. Sheamus picks up a part of the announce table and takes it to the ring. Sheamus goes for the White Noise, McIntyre counters with a DDT attempt. Shaemus avoids it and hits the spinebuster on the announce table slab. McIntyre hits the Claymore kick out of nowhere to get the win.
Winner – Drew McIntyre
Randy Orton vs Alexa Bliss
Orton enters for the match. He gets into the ring and waits for Bliss. Suddenly, he starts spitting black liquid from his mouth again. Orton gets a towel and wipes out his face. He gets ready for Bliss again. Bliss enters to the Firefly Fun House music now. Bliss takes her sweet time to get into the ring.
Orton charges at Alexa but flames go out from near the turnbuckle. Orton tries again and Bliss moves away. Orton crashes to the ringpost and rolls out to the floor. Bliss is not attacking him. She lures Orton at the ringside. Orton thinks of attacking her when some production equipments fall from above(shown as if Bliss managed to get them dropped). Bliss gets back to the ring as Orton is now confused about attacking her. Orton gets back in the ring and approaches her again. Bliss now throws flames from her hands.
Bliss goes and sits at the top of turnbuckle. Orton gets back at his feet and looks at Bliss. A burnt hand appears from under the ring. Bliss smiles at Orton as he realizes what is happening. The Fiend, in burnt condition, comes out from under the ring. Orton tries to attack but Fiend hits him with Sister Abigail. Bliss comes down and sits on top of Orton as the referee counts for the pin.
Winner- Alexa Bliss
After the match, Fiend comes and sits behind Bliss who is sitting on top of Orton. The segment ends wit Fiend & Bliss on top of Orton.
Roman Reigns(c) vs Daniel Bryan – WWE Universal Championship Match
Edge enters first and stands at ringside. Daniel Bryan enters next and get into the ring amid loud cheers. Roman Reigns comes out with Paul Heyman. The announcements get done and they are ready for the match now.
Bryan runs circle around Roman. He tries to grab Roman’s leg but is unsuccessful. Roman takes him to the corner and Bryan kicks at his leg as they come to break. They lock up now and Roman takes Bryan to the corner and slaps at his chest. Bryan tries to lock in Roman’s ankle but Roman was quick to reach the ropes. Bryan is avoiding getting caught by Roman till now. Roman once again avoids getting his legs caught.
They come to show of strength now. Roman gets Bryan down to his knees. Bryan turns it into an armbar and Roman have to quickly reach the ropes. Roman brings down Bryan in a headlock now. Bryan gets out but gets beaten up now.
Roman with shoulder thrusts in the corner. Roman picks him and slams in the other corner. Bryan catches him with a dropkick. He hyper-extends the arm and works on it. Roman takes him to the corner and unloads for a bit. Bryan counters and hits the corner kicks. Roman catches him as he runs off the rope and hits a tilt-a-whirl slam. Roman rubs Bryan’s face against the canvas. He hits a snap suplex and covers to get a two-count.
Bryan still on the knees as they trade a few shots at each other. Roman kicks at him a few times before putting on the headlock. Bryan gets back to his feet now but gets dropped with a big uppercut at the apron. Roman goes out and slams Bryan into the barricade. Edge watches him from the floor. Roman gets in and out of the ring to break referee’s count. Bryan hits a few punches and kicks but Roman sends him into the ringpost.
Back to the ring, Roman slams him to get a two-count. Bryan gets to the corner and Roman talks trash to him. Roman whips him to the other corner. Bryan trips him on the turnbuckle. Bryan hits a few kicks and the running knee. Bryan tries to hurricanrana from the top but Roman turns it into a Boston Crab. Bryan drags himself near the ropes. Roman takes him back in the ring and Bryan turns it in ankle lock. Roman gets back to the feet and runs into Bryan’s clothesline.
Both men are down. They get back to feet and go back and forth. Bryan low bridges Roman to the floor. Roman catches the suicide dive but could not hit the powerslam. Bryan hits the double knees on him on the floor. Back to the ring, Bryan hits the missile dropkick to get a two-count. Bryna hits the Yes kicks now. Roman catches the final kick and hits a big strike in the corner. Roman is selling his ribs and shoulder. Bryan hits the hurricanrana and a couple of big side kicks. He covers but could not get three.
Bryan kicks at him a few times and puts on the Yes Lock. Roman was reaching the ropes but Bryan takes him back to the middle of the ring and puts on the lock. It takes a bit of time but Roman powers out of it. Roman unloads with big strikes and hits a powerbomb to get a two-count. Roman was going for the spear but Bryan avoids it. Bryan goes for the running knee but Roman throws in the referee at him. Roman hits the spear. Edge sees that the referee is down and gets in the ring. Bryan kicks out of a near fall.
Roman unloads on Bryan. Bryan gets him in a triangle choke. Roman tries to turn it into a powerbomb. Bryan puts on the Yes lock. Roman looked in trouble. Jey Uso comes in and superkicks at Edge and Bryan. He brings in a steel chair. Jey sends Edge into the turnbuckle. He goes to hit Bryan with the steel chair but Bryan hits him with the running knees. Bryan picks the steel chair and unloads on Roman’s back. Roman gets up and so does Edge. Bryan was going to hit Roman with the chair but catches Edge instead.
Reigns comes right back with a Superman Punch to Bryan. Roman goes for another spear but Bryan counters and puts on the Yes lock. Roman goes to sleep with the lock still on. But there is no referee. Edge suddenly hits Bryan and Roman with steel chair. He lays it on Bryan a few more times. He shouts something at both Roman & Bryan before leaving. The referee comes into the ring now. Roman goes and cover Bryan to get the win.
Winner – Roman Reings(retains WWE Universal Championship)
