Report: WWE Planning War Games Match at Survivor Series 2023

WWE has intentions to bring back War Games match a Survivor Series 2023 PLE.

According to a report from Fightful Select, it has been revealed that as of this week, WWE is making plans to include a War Games match in this year’s Survivor Series event.

According to Fightful, there have been discussions about a men’s War Games match being considered for the event, but there hasn’t been any information available regarding the possibility of a women’s War Games match at this time.

The report has also suggested that there are strong indications that the War Games match may include Judgment Day stable on one side. Fans have also been speculating the involvement of Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Jey Uso in the opposite team.

The previous year’s WWE Survivor Series event marked the main roster debut of the War Games match. During that event, two War Games matches took place. In the women’s Wargames match, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Michin emerged victorious by defeating Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley.

In the men’s War Games match, the Bloodline team (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn), secured victory by defeating Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Sheamus, and the Brawling Brutes.

Survivor Series 2023 is scheduled for November 25, 2023, and it will be live from Allstate Arena in Chicago. No matches are announced for the event.
