WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 Results & Live Updates
NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 event is coming along with WrestleMania 39 weekend and we were here with live results and updates from the show.
This proved to be one of the biggest card for an NXT PLE as it featured 7 matches. Hosted by Pretty Deadly, the event had NXT Championship at the top of the card. Two of the biggest stars from the current roster- Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes – compete in the title match.
Johnny Gargano returned to NXT Stand & Deliver as he took on Grayson Waller in an unsanctioned match. Rest were all multi-men matches on the card. NXT Women’s Championship was contested in a ladder match as Roxanne Perez returned to defend her title against Tiffany Stratton, Indi Hartwell, Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin and Lyra Valkyrie.
Wes Lee was set to defend NXT North American Championship in a fatal 5-way against Ilja Dragunov, JD McDonagh, Dragon Lee, and Axiom. Tag Team Championship match was a three-way tag team match with Gallus defending against The Creed Brothers and D’Angelo Family. Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre challenged Fallon Henley and Kiana James for Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The control of Chase University was on the line as Andre Chase lead Tyler Bate, Duke Hudson and Thea Hail against Schism’s Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, Jagger Ried, and Ava Raine on the pre-show. RESULTS
- Tyler Bate & Chase U(Andre Chase, Duke Hudson & Thea Hail) defeated Schism(Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, Jagger Ried & Ava Raine) in a tag team match via pinfall to keep Control of Chase U.
- Indi Hartwell defeated Roxanne Perez(c), Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin, Tiffany Stratton, & Lyra Valkyrie in a Ladder Match to win NXT Women’s Championship.
- Gallus(Wolfgang & Mark Coffey)(c) defeated The Creed Brothers(Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo in a 3-Way Tag Team Match via pinfall to retain NXT Tag Team Championship.
- Wes Lee(c) defeated Dragon Lee, Ilja Dragunov, JD McDonagh & Axiom in Fatal 5-Way Match vai pinfall to retain NXT North American Championship.
- Johnny Gargano defeated Grayson Waller in an Unsacanctioned Match via submission.

LIVE UPDATES
The pre-show is live now with Peter Rosenberg and Dave LaGreca. We see Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker entering the Crypto.com Arena earlier today. The hosts go through the match card for tonight. We get a video package for Gargano vs Waller match before the hosts start to discuss the match. NXT Women’s Ladder match is discussed next.
Tony D’Angelo and Stacks are at a zoo talking about their bond and how the other two teams would become extinct. We also see the footage of The Creed Brothers training at a beach and Gallus roaming around in Los Angeles. Kay Famuyide and David Shoemaker join the pre-show to discuss this tag team title match.
We are told that NXT Women’s title match will open the show. We see Roxanne Perez handing out her title to a referee to be hanged above the ring in the ladder match. We get a recap how North American title match turned out to be a fatal 5-way. NXT Championship match is discussed next after a video package.
Booker T makes his entrance to join the commentary table. The match at the kick-off show is about to start.
Schism(Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, Jagger Ried & Ava Raine) vs Tyler Bate & Chase U(Andre Chase, Duke Hudson & Thea Hail) – Winner Gets Control of Chase U
Chase starts againt Fowler. Chase hits an armdrag after some running around. Fowler hits a punch and tags in Ried. Chase tags in Bate who hits a flying shoulder tackle on Ried. Duke take a blind tag which leads to some argument within Chase U. Thea tags in and Ava has to come in from the other side. Ava tags in Chase instead of getting engaged with Thea. Chase comes in from the other side. Gacy hits him with a spinning Urinage. Gacy mocks Chase with Chase U stomps. Chase fires back and tags in Bate for some double team against Gacy.
Chase tags in Ava. Thea is unable to move Ava when she goes for a tackle. Ava beats Thea down before hitting a suplex. Ava steps over Thea after dropping her to the mat. Thea fires back with some punches before sending Ava to the corner and hitting a suplex. Ried breaks a pin. Thea tags in Bate who punches Ried. Fowler takes a blind tag and double teams to drop Bate on the ropes. Bate counters a suplex and tags in Chase. Chase hits a body slam on Gacy after knocking off Fowler and Ried. Bate tags in and hits a springboard clothesline on Gacy.
Ried and Fowler come in and throw Bate to the floor. They beat up Chase also and Duke finally comes into the match to beat them up with quick moves. Ava slaps Duke to cut him off. Thea tackles Ava and starts to fight her. Ried pulls her away. Thea hits a tornado DDT on Ried. Gacy gets into the ring and so does Bate. Duke ends up hitting a boot on Bate. Fowler pulls Duke out of the ring. Bate hits a handspring splash on Bate but Chase breaks the pin. Schism work in tandem to get the whole Team Chase U down.
Duke faces off with Schism but Gacy starts to speak to him in his ears. Duke’s expression changes and he accepts Schism’s shirt. He stands with Schism as they prepare to beat up Chase U. Duke then gets behind Schism and rips the shirt. Chase U starts to beat up Schism in tandem. They hit Chase U stomps on all 4 opponents. Everyone is thrown out to the floor. Chase and Duke hit the Fratliner on Ried to get the pinfall.
Winner – Chase U & Tyler Bate
We get a video package for the hosts of the show – Pretty Deadly.
Denise Salcedo joins the pre-show to discuss the women’s title match.
Zoey Stark makes her entrance for the match in the final minute of pre-show. Indi Hartwell follows her out, with Gigi Dolin following her shortly after. The pre-show goes off the air.
We get a video package from Pretty Deadly to open the main show. They go through the match card for the night.
Tiffany Stratton is the first one to make her entrance on the main show. Lyra Valkyrie comes out next. Roxanne Perez enters to complete the line-up.
Roxanne Perez(c) vs Zoey Stark vs Gigi Dolin vs Tiffany Stratton vs Lyra Valkyrie vs Indi Hartwell – Ladder Match for NXT Women’s Championship
A quick back and forth start with the fight spilling to outside. Roxanne hits a hurricanrana on Zoey. She hits uppercuts on Zoey and Tiffany in the corner. Lyra gets in but Roxanne fights her off and sends her back to the floor. Roxanne hits a suicide dive on Indi on the floor before She is hit with a ladder. Gigi unloads on and drops Tiffany and Zoey. She goes to pick up a ladder but is hit with a dropkick by Tiffany. Zoey and Tiffany fight in the ring and keep Gigi out on the floor. Indi hits a clothesline to drop both Zoey and Tiffany. She hits both of them with a ladder on the floor.
Lyra hits a dropkick through the ropes on Indi. Lyra and Roxanne play tug of war with a ladder and Lyra manages to tackle Roxanne into the corner with the ladder. Lyra hits a suplex on Gigi to send her onto the ladder. Tiffany and Indi fight on the floor. Zoey hits Tiffany with a bulldog which also whiplashes Indi into a ladder. Lyra sets up a ladder but Zoey gets into the ring to fight her. Lyra fights her off and fight with Tiffany on top of the ladder.
Zoey brings Tiffany and Lyra down. Indi kicks her down. Indi, Roxanne and Tiffany are up on the ladder. Indi is sent down but she stop Tiffany from taking down the title by tripping the ladder. Gigi then stops Indi from getting to the top. Gigi puts a ladder on her shoulder and revolves it around to drop others. Gigi sends Lyra into a ladder with a back body drop. Gigi then side steps Zoey to send her on top of Lyra on the ladder. Gigi brings in a large ladder. Tiffany brings her down the ladder and hits her with rolling thunder driver on the ladder.
Tiffany sends Roxanne into the corner. Roxanne avoids a ladder shot and jumps to the top. Tiffany climbs quickly to the top and fights Roxanne to drop her. Indi stops Tiffany and hits her with a spinebuster on a ladder. Zoey hits Indi to the midsection with a ladder. Zoey hits a senton on Indi on top of a ladder. Zoey hits her finisher on Indi. She climbs the ladder but Roxanne pulls her leg and manages to bring her down. Zoey hits a back elbow. Roxanne blocks her finisher and hits Pop-rox. Tiffany comes in and blocks Pop-Rox but Roxanne counters a powerbomb to send Tiffany down to the floor.
Gigi pulls Roxanne down and swings Roxanne around into the ladders. Gigi hits a crucifix bomb on Roxanne. Lyra fights Gigi before hitting a dropkick on Zoey to knock her off the apron. Gigi brings Lyra down and traps her legs into the ladder. Lyra climbs back up and joins Gigi on the top. Gigi throws Lyra from the top of the ladder. Gigi was about to pull the title down when Jacy Jayne comes in and punches her off the top of the ladder to send Gigi crashing down to another ladder.’
Tiffany comes in and sets up a ladder. Indi trips the ladder to send Tiffany down crashing to the floor on Roxanne, Zoey and Lyra. Indi sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring. But, Indi is having hard time climbing up the ladder. Dexter Lumis appears and picks Indi on her shoulder to take her to the top of the ladder. Indi brings the title down to win the match.

Gallus(Wolfgang & Mark Coffey)(c) vs The Creed Brothers(Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo – 3-Way Tag Team Match for NXT Tag Team Championship
Back and forth starts with quick tags as one member from each team is in the ring at one time. Julius and Stacks tackle Coffey to the floor. Julius hits a suplex on Stacks to get a two-count. Tony gets in and starts punching Julius. Stacks hits a dropkick on Brutus. Tony and Stacks keep Gallus down. They hit a double-team neckbreaker on Brutus after more beat down on Julius. They hit Gallus with dives on the floor.
The Creed Brothers sweep Tony and Stacks before hitting a piledriver on Wolfgang. They pose with Daniel Cormier in the front row. In the ring, Creed Brothers beat up Tony untill Gallus get into the ring to hit Brutus with a double-team suplex. Wolfgang then beat up Tony. Julius tags in and hits belly-to-belly suplexes on all 4 opponents in succession. Tony blocks a suplex by hanging onto the ropes and hitting a back elbow on Julius. Stacks tags in and runs riot with quick moves on Brutus and Wolfgang. He hits a crossbody on Julius.
Coffey gets Stacks on his shoulder. Julius picks both Coffey and Stacks on his shoulder and drops them both to the floor. Coffey seems to be injured. Julius takes Stacks back into the ring. Tony gets in and hits Death Valley driver on Julius. Stacks hits splash on Julius but Coffey breaks the pin. Tony hits a move on Coffey but Wolfgang breaks the pin this time. Tony and Stacks hits another finisher on Mark Coffey but Jeo Coffey pulls Mark out to break the pin. Joe goes for discus lariat on Stacks but Tony gets in between to get the move. Gallus hits their finisher to get the pinfall on Stacks.
Winner – Gallus
Pretty Deadly are outside Bron Breakker’s locker room. They discuss the show so far and almost vomit when they talk about Gallus retaining the tag team title. They want to talk to Bron but decides against interrupting him.
Wes Lee(c) vs Dragon Lee vs Ilja Dragunov vs JD McDonagh vs Axiom- Fatal 5-Way Match for NXT North American Championship
Ilja Dragunov enters first followed by Jd McDonagh, Axiom, Dragon Lee, and the champion Wes Lee. 4 challengers are in 4 corners while Lee is in the middle. Dragon punches McDonagh before Axiom sends Dragunov to the floor. Axiom, Dragon and Wes fight between them. Wes is sent to the corner before Axiom and Dragon hit each other face-first to the mat. Dragunov and JD come back in and hits chops on Wes and Axiom. They face off but Dragon and Axiom attack them from behind. Dragon hits kicks to Dragunov in the corner. He ducks Axiom’s crossbody. Axiom and Dragon hit each with dropkick at the same time.
Dragon then hits a suicide dive on Axiom and Wes on the floor. Dragon takes Wes to the ring and hits a big boot. Wes no-sells it. Wes whips Dragon to the corner and then hits him with an armdrag. Wes hits quick-fire kicks before hitting a dropkick to send Dragon to the floor. Dragunov comes in and Lee is able to hit a hurricanrana and then kick him to the floor. JD avoids a suicide dive from Wess but Wes hits him with a superkick. Axiom gets to the top where Wes hits him with an uppercut to knock him off.
Dragon cuts off McDonagh’s attack on Wes. McDonagh takes control by attacking Axiom and Dragon. He hit a moonsault on Dragunov and Axiom on the floor. McDonagh drops Wes but Dragunov stops the referee from counting the pinfall. Dragunov and McDonagh face off until Dragon and Axiom get into the ring to join dropkicks on McDonagh. All 5 men are down in the ring. Dragunov hits kicks and dropkicks on all the opponents. He hits German suplexes on Wes and Dragon before hitting a big lariat on Axiom.
Dragunov hits a shooting star press on Dragon before senton on Wes. McDonagh sends him to the floor before Axiom kicks McDonagh to the floor. Axiom hits a moonsault dive on McDonagh and Dragunov. Dragon hits a double stomp on Wes as he was in a tree of woe in one of the corners. Axiom hits Dragunov and McDonagh with a clothesline and DDT combo. He puts on an ankle lock on Dragunov. McDonagh breaks it with a clothesline.
McDonagh hits kicks to Dragunov’s face. Axiom hits a superkick on McDonagh. Axiom puts on an armbar on Dragunov and then pulls McDonagh in a fujiwara armbar. Dragon comes in and goes for an arm triangle on McDonagh. Dragunov counters and hits a powerbomb on Axiom and drops him on McDonagh and Dragon. Dragunov falls on all three of them for a pin attempt but Wes hits a senton to break the pinfall.
Everyone starts hitting big moves now. Dragon hits Wes with a sitout powerbomb for a near fall. McDonagh hits a moonsault on both Axiom and Dragon but can not get the pinfall. Axiom hits a springboard DDT on McDonagh to get a near fall. Dragon hits a hurricanrana on McDonagh on the apron and sends him on Wes. Dragunov hits a brainbuster on Axiom from the top before hitting Torpedo, the pinfall is broken up once again.
Dragunov hits chops on Wes and Dragon. They fire back with superkicks. Dragunov drops Wes with more chops before dropping Dragon with a clothesline. Dragunov hits torpedo on Dragon but Wes hits Kardiac kick on Dragunov at the same time to get the pinfall.
Winner – Wes Lee
Pretty Deadly are outside Carmelo Hayess’ room where they talk about the fatal 5-way match just now. They hesitate a bit to get into Hayes’ room and Trick Williams comes out in frustration. He goes on to hype Carmelo for a while.
Johnny Gargano vs Grayson Waller – Unsacanctioned Match
Gargano hits a superkick to block a chair shot from Waller. The bell rings and Gargano tackles Gargano over the announce table. He was looking for a powerbomb but Waller hits a low blow. Waller goes to argue with the commentary team and allows Gargano to attack. Gargano throws Waller back into the ring before throwing some weapons. Gargano hits a slingshot spear before slamming a trash can on Waller’s face. Waller rolls to the floor. He uses a lid to cut off Gargano’s suicide dive.
Waller hits a chair to Gargano’s ribs. Waller sets up a series of chair on the floor but Gargano counters to stop being sent into the chairs. Waller sends him into the ring but Gargano blocks Waller’s stunner. Waller manages to throw Gargano into a trash can set up in the corner. Gargano blocks being sent into the set of chairs. He hits a suplex on the apron to send Waller into the chairs set up on the floor.
Gargano brings out a table and sets it up on the floor. Waller blocks a suplex and then counters a slingshot spear with a knee strike. Waller starts mocking Shawn Michaels as he signals for Sweet Chin Music. Waller nails a forearm to send Gargano to the floor after missing a superkick. Gargano hits him with a chair shot on the floor. Gargano sets up Waller on the table on the floor. Waller slips out and Gargano changes his mind about the move.
Waller hits a stunner on the floor and then sends Gargano through the table with a powerbomb. Waller takes Gargano back into the ring but Gargano kicks out of the move. Waller hits some punches before Gargano fights back. Waller hits a side slam on Gargano. Waller slams a kendo stick on Gargano’s back. More kendo stick shots follow on the floor. Waller starts to talk trash with Candice Le Rae who is in the front row. Gargano avoids a chair shot and Waller is hurt.
Gargano hits him with kendo stick shots. Gargano brings in Candice to hit more kendo stick shots. Waller catches the kendo stick and threatens to hit Candice. Gargano hits Waller with another kendo stick shot. Gargano hits One Final Beat but Waller kicks out of the pin. Gargano goes for GargaNo Escape but Waller rakes his eyes to avoid it. Waller hits chair shots now. He covers Gargano with a trash can and hits a ropewalk dropkick on Gargano. Gargano kicks out of the pinfall.
Waller sets up Gargano on top of announce table but Gargano gets up and hits Waller with another chair. Gargano puts Waller through the table with a powerbomb. Waller hits a lowblow to come back into the match. Waller hits a stunner but Gargano kicks out of the pin. Waller hits some chair shots now. He runs his mouth, giving Gargano a chance to hit a low blow. Gargano gets some chairs in and goes to hit some innovative chair shots. Gargano puts on GargaNo Escape and forces Waller to tap out.

Candice and Gargano celebrate the win and reach the stage. NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis come out and pose with them on the stage.
Stacks and Tony D’Angelo are discussing their match from earlier tonight. Pretty Deadly come in for an interview but they end up starting an argument.
Kiana James & Fallon Henley(c) vs Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre – NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship
James saves Henley from an attack before the match. Henley then fights off both opponents and takes Isla to the ring to start the match. Henley slams Isla face first into the mat to get a two-count. Fyre takes a blind tag and attacks Henley from behind. Fyre hits a knee drop on Henley’s face for a two-count. Some quick tags between Fyre and Dawn to cut off Henley.
Fyre hits a big tackle in the corner. Henley and Fyre knock each other with a punch at the same time. Fyre tries to block a tag but Henley kicks her away and tags in James. James comes in hot with quick moves on both opponents and sends them to the floor. James hits a moonsault on Fyre and Dawn on the floor. James hits a belly to back suplex on Fyre.
James hits a spinebuster on Fyre. Henley tags in and nails big rights on Fyre before bulldog. Fyre hits a back elbow and Dawn pulls Henley’s hair to take her into the corner. Dawn tags in after Fyre boots Henley to the corner. Henley fights back and hits a neckbreaker to get a two-count. Dawn knocks off James off the apron to block a tag. Fyre and Dawn hit a double-team move. James runs in to break the pinfall. James is thrown to the floor again.
Fyre and Dawn put Henley on the top rope. James pulls Dawn to the floor and tags in. James picks up Fyre and Henley joins in for double-team move. Dawn breaks the pin. Fyre rakes James’ eyes and hits a double-team DDT. Henley breaks the pin. James asks Brooks Jensen for her bag. Henley and Josh Briggs tell Jensen not to give it to him. Dawn hits a roundhouse kick on James. Fyre kicks Henley off the apron. Fyre and Dawn hits a backbreaker/senton combo to get the pinfall.
Winner – Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre
Bron Breakker(c) vs Carmelo Hayes – NXT Championship
Trick Williams introduces Carmelo as he makes his entrance. We see several NXT names on t-shirts like Axiom, Crews, McDonagh and other whom Carmelo has beaten. Hayes removes his shirt and sets it up on the stage. He steps over it as he follows on his entrance. Breakker’s music hits and we see “I got a dog in me” written on the screen after grafiti of a dog.
They staredown as the bell rings. They lock and Hayes ducks to avoid a takeover from Breakker. Breakker tosses him around a couple of times. Breakker intimidates him to the corner. Hayes runs the ropes and hits a dropkick. Hayes ducks and puts on a side headlock. Breakker hits a stiff shoulder tackle to drop him again. Hayes slips on the ropes and Breakker puts on a headlock. Hayes goes for springboard clothesline but Breakker no-sells it. Breakker mocks Hayes with his basketball imitation.
Breakker hits a hurricanrana and a moonsault to get a two-count. Breakker puts on a headlock and keeps Hayes on the mat for a while. Hayes blocks a suplex but Breakker keeps the hold. Breakker hits a snap suplex. Hayes drops him to the corner with a drop toe hold. Hayes stomps and kicks at Breakker in the corner. Hayes connects a springboard clothesline this time to get a two-count. Hayes puts on an armbar now. Breakker breaks free but Hayes whips him to the corner and hits a chop. They trade chops before Breakker hits an armdrag and a shoulder tackle. He hits a tilt-a-whirl slam to get a two-count.
Hayes counters with a bulldog himself before hitting a cutter to get a two-count. Hayes goes to the top but misses his move. Hayes hits a pump kick to send Breakker on the ropes and then hits a suplex from outside to inside to get a close two-count. Breakker meets Hayes on the top and hits a hurricanrana. Both men are down in the ring now. They get up at the same time and face off in the middle of the ring. They start trading big shots. The speed picks up.
Hayes blocks a powerslam attempt. Breakker blocks a crossface. Hayes locks it in on the second attempt. Breakker rolls over to break it. Breakker hits a spear but also catches the referee with it. Breakker puts on a Camel Clutch on Hayes. Hayes taps out but the referee is down. Williams hits Breakker with the NXT title and sets up Hayes for a pinfall. The referee wakes up and goes to count the pin but Breakker kicks out. Breakker goes for a powerslam but Hayes counters with a DDT. Hayes hits a leg drop and gets the pinfall.
Winner – Carmelo Hayes
After the match, Breakker gets up and hands the title to Hayes himself and shows his respect.
