WWE NXT 2.0 Results August 23, 2022, Live Updates
Welcome to the results blog for WWE NXT 2.0 episode of August 23, 2022 which will feature the build-up towards Worlds Collide 2022 event.
Three matches are announced for the show at this time. NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate will face Von Wagner. NXT UK Championship will be on the line as Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will defend the title against Gallus. Tiffany Stratton and Wendy Choo will clash in a Lights Out Match.

Live Updates
NXT Champion Bron Breakker comes out to the ring and calls out NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate to come see him face to face. Bate comes out and says he holds the proud lineage of being the first NXT UK Champion and would like to be the last champion as well. He proposes a title unification match at Worlds Collide. Bron Breakker agrees to it.
Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs vs Gallus(Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) NXT UK Tag Team Championship match ended in a count out after Lash Legends and Pretty Deadly get involved.
A vignette where Andre Chase has brought in a guest trainer from NXT UK who beats up his students.
Grayson Waller comes out for the debut of his talk show – The Grayson Waller Effect. The crowd chants “Johnny Wrestling” at him. Waller brings out Apollo Crews and asks him how does it feel to be a clout chaser and riding his wave. During the segment, Waller continously kept interrupting Crews and did not let him finish any answer properly. Crews called him a low budget version of The Miz. Waller asked him what does he tell his kids about not being able to cut it on RAW and SmackDown. Apollo says he would tell his son that he would soon be a champion on NXT. Crews takes out Waller to end the segment.
Pretty Deadly interrupt Gallus backstage as the security is trying to control them. They argue over with whom NXT UK tag titles belong to.
Von Wagner and Robert Stone cut a promo on Tyler Bate where Wagner says Bate will not make it to Worlds Collide.
Cameron Grimes defeated Javier Bernal via pinfall after hitting Cave-In.
Blair Davenport defeated Indi Hartwell via pinfall after a brainbuster.
Davenport cut a promo saying that she was the #1 contender for NXT UK Women’s title. However, she is now in NXT and therefore, calls out NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Rose comes out and says she is the most dominant women’s champion in WWE and Davenport just can’t call her shot like that. NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura comes out and corrects Rose on her claim that she is the most dominant women’s champion. Satomura challenges Rose for a title unification match. Davenport takes offense on this, leading to Satomura proposing a triple threat match.
Tiffany Stratton is interviewed backstage and says the new champion after Worlds Collide will have to deal with her.
JD McDonagh gets a video package talking about him trying to sacrifice himself at Heatwave and says he would do it again rather than running away from uncomfortable situations.
NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter are backstage with Wes Lee and claim that they are the real women’s tag team champion in whole of WWE.
Indi Hartwell is sitting on the apron and talks about her continuous failures in her last 4 months. Dexter Lumis appears behind her. Lumis and Indi embrace in the ring before Lumis lapped her up and took her backstage. Lumis hands her a note before getting out of the front gate to get arrested.
The Dyad (Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) defeated Legado del Fantasma (Cruz del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) via pinfall after Ticket to Mayhem double team finisher. Cameron Grimes was watching Joe Gacy and The Dyad from the skybox.
Backstage, Tony D’Angelo shouts at Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro for losing their match.
Javier Bernal yells at a woman backstage. A security guard steps up to him and tells him that he can’t talk to a woman like that.
Legado del Fantasma’s Del Toro, Wilde and Lopez are angry at the way Tony D’Angelo treated them. They come out of the arena and see an SUV rolling in. Santos Escobar is inside it and he tells them that he is not leaving without them.
Tyler Bate defeated Von Wagner via pinfall after a corkscrew senton atomico.
Diamond Mine is backstage. Creed Brothers and Damon Kemp tell Roderick Strong that they do not trust him. Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs come in and discuss about Gallus. Later, they challenge Creed Brothers for tag team championship unification match if they defeat Gallus next week.
Wendy Choo defeated Tiffany Stratton in a Lights Out match via pinfall after putting her through a bed and hitting a Vader Bomb.
