WWE NXT episode of May 23, 2023, will be the go-home edition of NXT Battleground 2023 PLE and will also feature the NXT women’s championship tournament semifinals.
Cora Jade will face Lyra Valkyria whereas Roxanne Perez will take on Tiffany Straton in the semifinal of the tournament. Nathan Frazer will collide with Noam Dar in a singles match. NXT Women’s Championship Tournament Semifinals
The four women who advanced in the first round of the NXT Women’s championship tournament will now compete for the final two spots. Cora Jade will go one-on-one against Lyra Valkyria in the first semifinal whereas Roxanne Perez will fight Tiffany Stratton in the second one. Who will be the two women to enter the finals?
Nathan Frazer vs Noam Dar
During last week’s episode of NXT, Nathan Frazer interrupted Noam Dar during his Supernova session and stated that he is a fraud and he should put his heritage cup on the line. Noam Dar agreed to the same but against Dragon Lee at NXT Battleground and stated that he would face Nathan Frazer in a standard match this Tuesday.
Tank Ledger vs Hank Walker
Last week, Tank Ledger proposed to his good friend and tag team partner Hank Walker that they should fight in order to strengthen their bond as a team. As a result, these two will collide in a singles match this Wednesday. Will this match work in their favor?
Tyler Bate vs Eddy Thorpe
Eddy Thorpe is trying to get his feet in the door in his initial NXT days. This week, he will be facing a pretty experienced campaigner in Tyler Bate. Bate will be preparing for his triple threat match for North American Championship at Battleground. Will he be distracted with that match to overlook Thorpe?
What Else to Expect?
Bron Breakker has been one step forward against Carmelo Hayes in their rivalry since he turned heel. With just one episode left before Battleground, will Hayes be able to get one over Breakker?
