WWE NXT 2.0 will present its last episode of this year on December 28, 2021. The episode will feature the in-ring return of former Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick. The event will air live from the same venue, i.e., Capitol Wrestling Center.
Dexter Lumis will be in action against Grayson Waller, whereas the team of Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade will face the NXT Women’s Tag-Team Champion, Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jane.

Grayson Waller comes out and cut a promo about his RAW appearance last night. Waller says there is no brighter star than himself right now in WWE and that he would have defeated AJ last night. Waller says Dexter Lumis is not cleared for tonight and Odessey Jones will face him instead.
Grayson Waller defeated Odessey Jones via pinfall after a stunner.
AJ Styles appears on the big screen after the match and informs that he will face Waller at New Year’s Evil.
Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez are backstage with McKenzie Mitchell. Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray come up and say that they want also want a title shot. Mandy Rose appear on the big screen and announces a tag team match. The winners will face her in a triple threat match.
Grayson Waller bumps in MSK backstage while ranting about AJ Styles.
Backstage, Xyon Quinn tells Elektra Lopez to choose between him and Legado Del Fantasma.
MSK come out to the ring. Riddle joins them from big screen. Riddle calls out NXT Tag Team Champions Imperium. Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner come out and cut a promo. WALTER appear on the big screen and says MSK do not deserve a title shot. Riddle interrupts him and challenges Imperium for a trios match next week. WALTER accepts the challenge.
Edris Enofe, Von Wagner and Malik Blade argue backstage until the crew separate them.
Harland defeated Andre Chase via referee stoppage as Harland continued to slam Kendrick’s face to the mat. After the match, Harland returns to the ring and continues to beat up Chase. One of Chase’s student come out to save him but Harland beats him up, puts him on his shoulder and walks back with him.
Tiffany Stratton defeated Fallon Henley via pinfall in her debut match.
A vignette with Tony D’Angelo where he brags about using a crowbar on Pete Dunne.
Roderick Strong comes out with Daimond Mine for contract signing segment. Carmelo Hayes comes with Trick Williams. Both sides trade words before signing the contract. Ivy Nile and Creed Brothers attack Trick Williams and smash him through the table.
Solo Sikao defeated Santos Escobar with a pinfall after a Uso Splash. Xyon Quinn appeared at the ringside before the finish. Escobar hit him with a suicide dive and Sikao took advantage of the distraction.
Harland is going to throw Andre Chase’s student off the roof but Joe Gacy says something to him to calm him down.
Boa attacks Solo Sikoa backstage.
Von Wagner defeated Malik Blade. Wagner hits an angle slam and then a big twisting slam for the pin. Wagner attacks Blade post-match before Edris Enofe pulls Blade to safety.
Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez defeated Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray with a pinfall on Ray after some back and forth between Jade and Ray.
