WWE NXT 2.0 episode of March 1, 2022, is all set to feature NXT Champion Bron Breakker in action as he will team up with Tommaso Ciampa against the Dirty Dawgs. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa will face his biggest threat so far in the form of Gunther.

Along with these two big matches, the next episode of NXT 2.0 will also feature Pete Dunne challenging Carmelo Hayes for the North American title. Von Wagner will answer the open challenge of Andre Chase whereas Harland will collide against Draco Anthony inside the squared circle.

Bron Breakker & Tommaso Ciampa vs The Dirty Dawgs(Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode)

Breakker & Ciampa attacks the Dirty Dawgs on the floor. Breakker drops Ziggler on the floor. Roode takes Ciampa to the ring. Breakker trips him from the apron and Ciampa hits a suicide dive on him. Ciampa takes Ziggler to the ring and works on him. Breakker comes in and hits a big spinebuster on Ziggler. Roode comes into the ring and Ziggler takes advantage with slingblade on Breakker.

Dirty Dawgs work on Breakker with double team for 3-4 minutes. Breakker avoids a flying elbow from Ziggler and runs over Roode. Ciampa comes in hot and drops both opponents. He fights off Ziggler on the apron before Roode hits him with a spinebuster. This takes us to a break.

Ciampa catalpults Ziggler over the ropes and to the floor. Roode removes Breakker from the apron to stop tag from Ciampa. Roode and Ziggler hit spinebuster/neckbreaker combo. Ciampa drops Roode with a pump knee. Breakker gets back to the apron and is angry. Ciampa kicks Ziggler away and tags in Breakker. Breakker runs riot with quick moves. Ziggler cuts off a spear with a knee. Breakker then hits a spear on Ziggler. He hoists Ziggler on his shoulder for Ciampa to hit a bulldog. Roode breaks the pin. More back and forth before Ciampa hits the fairytale ending on Ziggler to get the pin.

Winners – Bron Breakker & Tommaso Ciampa

LA Knight is in the ring. He addresses Grayson Waller and says they are doing this for a long time. He recaps their rivalry since before Halloween Havoc. Waller cuts him off. He is in the air box with Sanga. Knight says he walked out last week with Waller on his back, and he has walked out standing both times. He challenges Waller for Last Man Standing match. Waller accepts the challenge.

Persia Pirotta is texting with Duke Hudson. Indi Hartwell gets irritated by this and wants her to focus on Dusty cup.

Wendy Choo & Dakota Kai vs Persia Pirotta & Indi Hartwell – Women’s Dusty Rhodes Classic 2022 Round 1

Pirotta plays with Wendy’s braids before bringing in Indi. Choo takes Indi to their corner and Kai teams up with her to whip Indi to the corner. They both hit running boots on Indi before dropping her with a double team move. Indi counters in the corner to bring in Pirotta who hits a big boot. Kai comes in and sends Indi to the floor. Pirotta hits X-Factor on Kai and Choo breaks the pin. Kai hits a pump kick, Choo hits a Vader bomb and Kai finishes with a double stomp off the top to get the pin on Pirotta.

Winners – Wendy Choo & Dakota Kai

We get a video package for perception vs reality video package for Creed Brothers vs Imperium, where Imperium is shown as perception while the Creed Brothers are projected as reality.

Amari Miller vs Lash Legends

As Miller enters, we see a backstage altercation between these two where Legends accuses Miller of dampening her NXT debut and regretting teaming up with her. Legends tries to bully Miller into the corner but Miller hits her with forearms. Legends hits a big boot before raking her face into the ropes. Legends stretches Miller’s back. She misses a leg drop. Miller with forearms, kicks, a dropkick, superkick and a moonsault to get a two-count. Legends avoids her in the corner and plants her in the middle of the ring with a slam for the pin.

Winner – Lash Legends

Sikoa gets interviewed backstage and says respect is a two-way thing and Gunther should show him something to get his respect.

Brooks Jenson and Josh Briggs are backstage. Jenson is looking at a truck on his phone and makes some inappropriate comments. Elektra Lopez walks by and thinks Jenson is talking about her. They argue and Jenson says more stupid things. Lopez leaves and leaves Briggs wondering if Jenson even knows what he is saying.

Solo Sikao vs Gunther

Gunther starts with front kicks, chops, uppercuts and whatnot. Gunther hits big shots at the chest in the corner. Sikoa fires back with his shots. Gunther gets back control with another big punch. He hits a bodyslam. Gunther keeps control and puts on a side headlock. Sikoa gets to his feet but Gunther avoids a Samoan drop and hits a lariat. Gunther puts on the Boston Crab. Sikoa reaches the ropes to break it. Sikoa starts to hype up and he takes more shots from Gunther. He starts to fire back with body shots. He takes down Gunther off his feet with a spinning kick.

Sikoa counters a powerbomb with a Samoan drop. Gunther moves to the floor and Sikoa hits a splash on him. A superkick gets Sikao a two-count. Sikao misses a splash from the top. Gunther puts on a sleeper. Sikao breaks it with a jawbreaker. Gunther hits a chop to the back of her neck and puts on the sleeper again. As Sikao fades a bit, Gunther hits two powerbombs in succession to get the pin.

Winner – Gunther

Tomasso Ciampa argues with Dolph Ziggler backstage about his #1 contender status. Bron Breakker walks in and Ciampa says he has already beaten Breakker once. Breakker gets pissed off and says he will kick both of their as**s. Ziggler laughs at it and leaves. Ciampa and Breakker stare at each other.

Joe Gacy tells Harland that Draco Anthony’s feeling comes from other sources and not him.

Pirotta apologizes to Indi about losing the match earlier. Pirotta and Indi are backstage and Indi says they will get the win next time. Duke Hudson comes and takes Pirotta away. Indi is left frustrated that Dexter Lumis has not replied to him yet.

Harland vs Draco Anthony

Harland throws Draco to the ropes and he leaves to the floor to avoid an attack. Draco drops Harland on the ropes. Harland starts beating him up as he comes to the ring. Big shots from Harland in the corner. Draco hits a boot to come back. He drops Harland with a flying shoulder tackle for a two-count. Harland slams his face to the mat and slams his face again and again. Harland hits a back suplex to get the pin.

Winner – Gunther

After the match, Gacy talks Harland into picking Draco up and hug him. Draco is confused at it.

Carmelo Hayes is backstage for an interview. Hayes says Dunne was the greatest performer in NXT until he walked in and, at the end of the day, question will be who is left for Melo.

Ivy Nile is training when Paxley comes to her apologizes for the loss last week and that she totally understands why she was upset at her and attacked her. Nile says if she wants to be in Diamond Mine, she should face her in the ring.

Raquel Gonzalez & Cora Jade vs Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz

Feroz drops Jade to start. Raquel comes in and Feroz fights her off until Raquel sends to the corner. Jade with a hip attack in the corner and running knee. Feroz sends her to the floor. Feroz hits Raquel with a crossbody while Leon hits a senton dive on Raquel. Leon hits a powerslam on Jade to get a two-count.

Leon and Feroz in control for a while against Jade. Raquel gets a tag and drops Feroz with an overhead throw, knocks off Leon and hits a one-handed powerbomb on Feroz. She tags in Jade, kicks away Leon and drops Jade on Feroz to take the win.

Sarray is backstage, showing her Sun pendal to others. Tiffany Straton comes in and tells Sarray that she can have her necklace. Sarray says no, thanks and this infuriates Stratton. Stratton slams Sarray in the shutter behind them.

Tony D’Angelo has his sights on WrestleMania weekend.

Andre Chase vs Von Wagner

Chase with early shots at Wagner. Wagner drops him to the mat before hitting shoulder blocks in the corner. He hits another body slam and continues to beat up Chase for a while. Wagner tosses Chase with a suplex. Chase fights back by attacking the knee. Chase hits a clothesline and then stomps on Wagner. Stone gets to the apron and Bodhi takes offense at that. Chase also goes to the floor. Wagner ends up hitting Bodhi and Chase slams his face into the ringpost. Wagner runs him over as they are back to the ring and then hits a Death Valeey Driver to get the pin.

Winners – Raquel Gonzalez & Cora Jade

Carmelo Hayes(c) vs Pete Dunne – NXT North American Championship

Lock up to start. Dunne takes Hayes down in an arm stretch. Running the ropes, and Hayes hits a big clothesline. Dunne returns the favor shortly after this. Dunne hits a running forearm. Hayes hits back with the same move. They trade strikes. Dunne drops Hayes with a suplex to take us to the break.

Dunne is in control as we return. They trade forearms. Hayes puts on single leg crab. He hits an enziguiri to the back of the head. Dunne hits a gamengiri. Hayes hits a DDT on the apron. Hayes hits a double ax handle before putting on a chinlock. Dunne eats forearms before fighting back. He cuts off a springboard move with a forearm. Reversals with kicks. A codebreaker Hayes gets him another two-count.

Dunne puts on the ankle lock. Hayes comes back with scissor leg drop. Dunne hits Bitter End, but Hayes moves away to avoid a pin attempt. Dunne puts on the arm triangle. Hayes gets out of it by taking him to the ropes. Hayes puts on crossface. Dunne breaks his finger to break the submission. Hayes hits a suplex neckbreaker and goes to the top. Trick Williams distracts Dunne when he goes to the top. Hayes drops Dunne with a shot and hits a leg drop for the win.

Winners – Carmelo Hayes

After the match, Hayes announces that he will defend the title at NXT Stand & Deliver in a ladder match.

Bron Breakker & Tommaso Ciampa vs Dirty Dawgs: Dolph Ziggler is on his way to take over NXT 2.0 and for that, he needs to defeat Bron Breakker. However, before that, he will team up with Robert Roode in order to face NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa. Will Dirty Dawgs have another night to their name?

Solo Sikoa vs Gunther: Last week, Solo Sikoa laid out Gunther with a superkick and now the Ring General will lookout to take the revenge as he faced Solo Sikoa in a singles match.

NXT North American Championship match: The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne will challenge the NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes. The former claims that Hayes can’t call himself the champion if he hasn’t faced him yet. 

Andre Chase vs Von Wagner: Von Wagner has dodged facing Andre Chase one-on-one in the last few weeks. He has now become fed up with taunting from Chase and will face Andre Chase as he will return from his suspension.

Draco Anthony vs Harland: Joe Gacy approached Draco in the gym last week which he considered Draco’s “safe space.” However, Draco was not too thrilled with the confrontation. How much time will it take for Harland to beat him?
