WWE Money in the Bank 2024 is slated to take place on July 6, 2024, at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. The event will start at 8 PM ET and will be available to watch via Peacock Streaming in United States, and WWE Network in other countries.

As has been the norm, the event will feature Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches where the winner will earn a contract for WWE World title match at their time of choosing.

  • Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, Chad Gable and LA Knight – Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
  • Sami Zayn(c) def. Bron Breakker – WWE Intercontinental Championship
  • Damian Priest(c) def. Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins – Triple Threat Match for World Heavyweight Championship (Money in the Bank Cash-In)
  • Tiffany Stratton def. Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Naomi & Zoey Stark – Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
  • The Bloodline(Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu) def. Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens & Randy Orton – Tag Team Match

In early January, WWE announced that the Money in the Bank 2024 event would take place on July 6, 2024, in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, Smackdown on July 5 and NXT Heatwave on July 7 were also announced to take place on either side of the event. This would be the second year in a row that the event would take place outside of the United States, as the 2023 event took place in London, UK. It will be the 15th event in Money in the Bank series while it is the first event in the series to air from Canada.

The Bloodline Trios Match: After Cody Rhodes defeated AJ Styles at Clash at the Castle to retain Undisputed WWE Championship, defacto Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa stood beside him to make it clear that The Bloodline was coming after him. Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga attacked Cody after this. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton came out to help out Cody. On the following week on SmackDown, Cody gave Solo a title shot. During the match, The Bloodline attacked Cody once again and Orton & Owens came out to corner Solo. Jacob Fatu then made his WWE debut to take down the trio. After this, a trios match was announced with The Bloodline facing Cody, Orton and Owens.

World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins lost World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. Immediately after this, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against McIntyre and won the title. Seth Rollins went on hiatus after this. He returned on RAW June 17 episode and said that he wanted to win the title back. Priest then came out and offered him a title shot at Money in the Bank. Rollins accepted the challenge. The following week, Rollins and Priest once again got involved in a promo battle where Rollins accused Priest of using Judgment Day to keep his title reign going. When Priest claimed that he did not ask for the help, Rollins proposed a stipulation that Priest would have to leave Judgment Day if he lost. In return, Priest said this would Rollins’ last title shot until he would be champion.

Intercontinental Championship: On RAW June 17 episode, Bron Breakker confronted Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. Sheamus also came out to ask for a title shot. Sami told them to sort it out between themselves. A singles match was set between them which ended in a disqualification when Ludwig Kaiser attacked Sheamus. Breakker then hit a spear on Kaiser. When Breakker faced Kaiser the following week, Sheamus attacked Kaiser. Breakker then hit a spear on Sheamus also. Following this incident, Breakker was having a rant backstage when Sami came and told him that he could have a title shot at Money in the Bank.
