Welcome to the Live Results blog for WWE Crown Jewel 2022 event airing live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and featuring Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul in the main event.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will put his title on the line against pro wrestling novice but a big social media star in Logan Paul. Paul has two wins in two WWE appearances, and that record has given him the confidence to take on the longest-reigning Universal Champion. Will The Tribal Chief completely obliterate The Maverick?

The Usos are trying to become the longest-reigning tag team champions, but The Brawling Brutes are first hurdle for them at Crown Jewel. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will also be on the line in the match between Asuka & Alexa Bliss vs Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky. Damage CTRL’s leader Bayley will challenge for WWE RAW Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair in a Last Woman Standing match.

Two behemoth clashes will see Brock Lesnar collide with Bobby Lashley, and Bruan Strowman takes on Omos. Drew McIntyre will clash with Karrion Kross inside the Steel Cage. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio will clash with The OC’s AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows.

Bray Wyatt is due an appearance on the show where we might get to know more about Uncle Howdy. It is also rumored that Seth Rollins will issue an open challenge for United States Championship.

Live Updates

The kick-off show is live now with Jackie Redmond, Matt Camp and Peter Rosenberg in the pre-show panel. They go through the match card for the night. Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley will open the show, we are told. They are going through every match one by one.


A special video package narrated by Titus O’Neal opens Crown Jewel main show. Huge pyro kicks off as we go live from the arena. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett take over the commentary to welcome us. Bobby Lashley is the first one to come out tonight. Huge cheers for Lashley. We get the video package for the match. Lesnar makes his entrance after the video package.

Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley

Lashley pushes Lesnar into the steel steps as he was circling the ring. He sends him into the barricade now. He hits a spear on the floor. Lashley takes the action back to the ring and the bell rings. Lashley hits another spear. Lesnar rolls out of the ring. Lesnar has injured his knee. Lashley hits a spear to take through the barricade. Back to the ring, Lashley hits the fourth spear but Lesnar kicks out. Lesnar counters The Hurt Lock and hits a German suplex. Lesnar continues to hit German suplexes for a while. He hits an F5 and Lashley also kicks out of the pin.

Lashley blocks another F5 and pushes Lesnar to the floor. Lashley picks him up and driving him into the ring post. Back to the ring, Lashley goes for the spear, only to be picked up by Lesnar for F5. Lashley slips out and hits a spinebuster. Lashley puts on the Hurt Lock. Lesnar is in trouble but he does not give up. Lashley keeps him in the lock for more than a minute. Lesnar starts to fade out now. He is down to his knees. The referee checks if he has passed out. Lesnar starts to wake up and catapults from the corner to slam Lashley on his back. He lands on top of Lashley. Lashley is crushed under his weight and the referee counts the pin for Lesnar.

Winner – Brock Lesnar

Lashley is a bit confused after the match. He picks up Lesnar and puts him in the Hurt lock again. Lesnar struggles to break the lock. Lashley lets it go and poses in the middle of the ring. Lesnar is selling the lock as Lashley leaves to the back.

Asuka & Alexa Bliss(c) vs Damage CTRL(Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky) – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Damage CTRL duo come out first. Alexa and Asuka are interviewed backstage. Bliss says they have been preparing for the title matches for a long time. We suddenly get the Firefly Funhouse logo on the screen behind Alexa. Alexa gets frightened for a while. Asuka does her catchphrase before they make their entrance.

Alexa and Dakota start the match. Dakota takes her down with a side headlock. Bliss toys around and gets some quick attack going from the corner. Alexa gets a few pin attempts until she runs into Dakota face first. Alexa trips Dakota to come back. She stands on top of Dakota for a while. Dakota drops her on the ropes. Sky tags in and Alexa nails her with a big punch. Asuka tags in and hits a snapmare on Sky. Sky does handspring to avoid some attack. Asuka hits her with a backfist. Sky hits a tackle. Asuka replies with a tackle herself. Alexa comes in and Asuka drops Sky with bulldog on her feet. Alexa hits a dropkick on Dakota as she gets in. Asuka and Alexa knock off Damage CTRL off the apron and hit them with basement slide dropkicks.

Sky hits a dropkick on Asuka when she was on the top turnbuckle. The referee was distracted by Dakota. Asuka lands on the floor and has hurt her knees. She barely beats the referee’s countdown. Sky starts to work on Asuka’s knee. Dakota comes in and puts on a knee bar. Sky pulls the ropes as Asuka was going for rope break. Sky tags in and hits dragon screw leg on Asuka’s hurt leg. Asuka gets back to her feet but Sky hits her with a flatliner. Dakota comes in but Asuka fights them off. Asuka drops both opponents with one swift move.

Bliss takes the tag and hits Meteora on both opponents. She hits flurry of strikes and knee strikes and double dropkick on both opponents. She hits double knee drop and a tornado DDT on Dakota. Sky breaks the pin. Sky drops Alexa before Alexa comes back to hit her with Code Red to get a two-count. Bliss goes to the top. Sky meets her there. Dakota comes in to try and double team. Asuka joins them to hit powerbomb on both of them and complete the Tower of Doom spot.

Asuka hits a missile dropkick on Sky. She misses a hip attack on the ropes on Dakota but manages to hit a German suplex to get a close two-count. Dakota drives her into the turnbuckle and hits a running boot to get a close two-count. Asuka nails her with roundhouse kick. Bliss tags in. Sky distracts her and Dakota gets her knees up on Alexa’s senton. Asuka attacks Sky on the floor. Alexa hits DDT on Dakota in the ring. Asuka and Sky get into the ring brawling. The referee goes to deal with them. Alexa is on the top turnbuckle. Nikki Cross comes in and trips Alexa on the top. She hits the swinging neckbreaker on Alexa. Dakota goes and covers Alexa as the referee comes back to count the pin.

Logan Paul enters the arena with Jake Paul. He gets interviewed and says he is feeling great and feels that he can win the title with one lucky punch.

Drew McIntyre vs Karrion Kross – Steel Cage Match

Karrion Kross makes his entrance with Scarlett after the video package. The drones create an hourglass in the air. Drew McIntyre enters next. The steel cage goes down after Drew completes his entrance. McIntyre slams the door shut before the bell rings.

They stare down for a while. Drew ducks a swing from Kross and hits a big right. Kross also nails his shot. Drew hits chops before hitting a back drop suplex. Kross hits him with jab to his throat. Kross climbs to the cage and Drew joins him on the top rope. They trade shots before Kross trips Drew on the rope and he lands in his groin on the ropes. Kross hits a Saito suplex before unloading some more. Kross slams Drew into the steel walls. They trade more chops before Drew is driven into the cage one more time.

Kross boots his shoulder before raking into the ropes. Drew explodes out of the corner with a clothesline. He hits another clothesline before hitting a German suplex and throwing Kross into the steel wall. Drew hits a neckbreaker and takes his time to get his breathing under control. Drew avoids being sent into the cage wall and hits a Michinoku driver to get a close two-count. Drew hits a chop and sets up Kross on the top turnbuckle. Drew goes for a superplex but Kross hits punches to ribs and trips him on the turnbuckle. He puts him in Tree of Woe but Drew recovers and throws Kross across the ring. Drew gets ready for Claymore but Kross hits a flying knee to get a near fall.

Drew sends him into the cage and hits a neckbreaker to get a two-count. Kross puts him in Kross Jacket. Drew counters with a sleeper choke of his own. Kross hits him with Saito Suplex to break it. Scarlett tells Kross to finish this. Kross get ready for Kross Hammer but Drew ducks it and hits Futureshock DDT. Drew gets distracted by Scarlett and Kross puts him in Kross jacket. Drew escapes it by slamming Kross into the corner. Kross hits him Kross jacket. Kross starts to climb the cage. Drew recovers and grabs his neck. He drags Kross back and hits a superplex from the top turnbuckle. Both men are down.

Drew asks the referee to open the door to escape. Scarlett sprays his face with the pepper spray. She also sprays it on the referee. Kross crawls towards the door now. Drew picks his leg and puts on the ankle lock. Kross kicks him away. Kross hits him with a forearm but Drew hits Claymore kick. Scarlett locks the door from outside and takes away the keys. Scarlett tells Drew that he can’t win. Drew climbs the cage. Kross is coming towards the door and Scarlett unlocks it. But Drew jumps to the floor first to get the win.

Winner – Drew McIntyre

Drew celebrates his win as the cage goes up. Kross keeps screaming at him that this is not how it was supposed to happen.


We see Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline come to the arena. Byron Saxton asks Roman if he has a response to Logan Paul’s one lucky punch comment. Roman does not reply and goes away. Paul Heyman mocks one lucky punch and says Roman is one of the greatest offensive wrestler but he is also the greatest defensive wrestler. Heyman says Logan will not be able to throw that one lucky punch.

The Judgement Day(Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) vs The OC(AJ Styles, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

The Judgment Day come out first. Rhea Ripley is paying homage to “Late” Beth Pheonix as per Michael Cole. The OC make their entrance next.

Balor and Anderson start the match. Balor gets the waistlock on. Anderson hits uppercuts after being backed to a corner. He hits a dropkick to his knee. Priest and Gallows tag in. Priest puts on a side headlock. Gallows no-sells a shoulder tackle. Priest fients a punch. Gallows turns it around in the corner to unload with body shots. Gallows hits a clothesline in the corner. AJ tags in and Priest kicks him to the mat. Dominik asks for a tag as AJ was down. AJ quickly takes Dominik under control with punches and kicks. Quick tags from the OC as they keep Dominik in their corner. Gallows hits Dominik with a big powerslam and knee drop.

AJ hits a suplex. Anderson comes in for a double team but Dominik slides to the floor. AJ pulls in Balor to brawl. Anderson goes to the floor but Dominik baits him into a pump kick from Priest. Back to the ring, Dominik tags in Priest who hits a flying elbow on Anderson. Anderson hits punches but Priest stops him with bell clap. Priest hits a flying elbow in the corner and a suplex. Balor hits a suplex and Dominik hits a senton on Anderson in quick succession. Balor hits a backbreaker before Priest puts him on stretch. Balor taunts AJ before more punishment on Anderson.

Anderson tries to tag out. He hits a couple of punches but Balor whips him to the corner. Anderson fight back from the corner but Priest nails him with an uppercut. Priest goes to punch Gallows. Anderson hits Priest with a neckbreaker. Balor pulls AJ off the apron to stop the tag out. Anderson hits a spinebuster on Priest. Gallows returns to the apron and gets the tag. Priest tags in Dominik. Gallows pulls Dominik in and slams him to the mat before hitting a big kick. Priest is also dropped before Gallows attacks Dominik with powerslam and backbreaker. Priest saves Dominik from Magic Killer as Anderson tags in. Dominik rolls up Anderson for a two-count. Dominik and Anderson drop each other with clotheslines at the same time. AJ and Balor get the tag.

AJ hits a flurry of strikes before hitting forearm on Balor. He takes care of Priest and Dominik. AJ blocks 1860 DDT and hits a backbreaker. AJ goes for calf crusher but Priest counters to put on figure four. Everyone starts to get involved in the match with big moves. AJ nails Priest with a Pele kick. Balor hits dumbell drop to get a close two-count. Balor goes to the top. AJ trips him and goes for a superplex. Dominik grabs AJ’s leg. AJ hits a superplex while Gallows drops Dominik and Priest drops Anderson. AJ hits a forearm on Balor. Rhea drops AJ on the apron as the referee was distracted. Balor hits a shotgun dropkick and Coupe de Grace to get the pin on AJ Styles.

Omos vs Braun Strowman

Omos comes out alone as Strowman took out MVP on SmackDown last night. Strowman makes his entrance after him. They face off in the middle as the bell ring. Strowman screams that the whole nation is behind him. Omos shows off his hand and asks Strowman if he is serious about this. Omos invites him for a test of strength. Omos brings him down to his knee and hits a knee strike to his midsection.

Omos whips Strowman from corner to corner. He hits a corner splash next. Omos hits a big boot right to the face to drop Strowman. Omos taunts Strowman and then kicks into his ribs to send him to the floor. Strowman drops his face to the ropes and gets back to hit some punches. Omos hits him with a body slam. Omos talks into the camera for a while. Strowman kicks at his face from the mat and tries to go for the body slam. Omos counters to hit another body slam. Omos unloads more on him in the corner and continues to talk into the camera. Omos throws him across the ring.

Strowman starts to build some momentum with some punches. He continues to nail Omos with rights. He tries to clothesline him to the floor, but Omos hangs on in the first attempt. Strowman sends him to the floor in second attempt. Strowman goes for the frieght train but Omos tackles him. Omos brings him back to the ring and goes for the double hand chokeslam. Strowman breaks his grip. Omos sends him to the corner. Strowman sidesteps to avoid a corner splash and hits the running powerslam to get the pin.

The Usos(Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso)(c) vs The Brawling Brutes(Butch & Ridge Holland) – Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

The Usos make their entrance first. Jey’s arm is wrapped and Michael Cole tells us that he has hurt his wrist during the European tour. He will get an MRI done on Monday. The Brawling Brutes come out and Ridge Holland has a Shelilaigh in his hand.

Butch and Jimmy start. Butch knocks Jey off the ropes. He rolls up Jimmy to get a two-count. Butch goes for a stomp on Jimmy’s arm but Jimmy rolls to the floor. The Usos try to leave and lose the match via count out. Butch dives on them and brings Jimmy back to the ring. Butch puts on a choke. Jimmy turns it around with a cheap shot after a distraction. Jey kicks at Butch from the apron. Butch is cornered in Usos’ corner as they make quick tags to keep him under control. Jimmy unloads with punches. Butch avoids a hip attack in the corner and hits tornado DDT.

Tags to Jey and Holland. Holland hits shoulder tackles on Jey and then on Jimmy. He hits a powerslam on Jimmy before hitting corner splashes on both the Usos. He hits a back body drop on both men at the same time. Holland hits 10 beats of Beltran on Jey. Jimmy pulls Jey to the floor. Holland tackles them both at the same time. Butch hits a stomp on Jimmy hand on the steel steps. Holland hits a side slam on Jey after getting into the ring. Butch tags in and trades punches. Butch hits a moonsault on Jey to get a two-count.

Jey starts to fight back against Butch. Jimmy comes in and hits double superkick on Butch and Holland. Holland is kicked to the floor. Another superkick on Butch before Jimmy tags in. Jimmy goes for the splash but Butch counters by putting him in knuckle lock. Jey tags back as Butch tries to overpower Jimmy. Jey breaks his move with a superkick. The Usos hit double Usos Splash but Holland breaks the pin. Butch hits joint manipulation on Jey’s injured arm. Holland tags in. Butch uses joint manipulation on Jimmy on the floor. Holland hits White Noise on Jey but he kicks out. Jimmy is thrown into the barricade. Butch and Holland hit roundhouse kick/powerslam combo on Jey, but Jimmy runs in to break the pin.

Butch and Jey fight in the ring. Holland and Jimmy fight on the apron. Jey and Jimmy hit a double superkick on Holland on the apron to knock him down. Butch hits a dropkick on Jey but he runs into Jimmy to tag out. Butch goes to the top and Jimmy comes in to hit a superkick on him. Jey comes back to join Jimmy to hit 1D to get the pin.

Winner – The Usos

We get a video package for Cody Rhodes and his performance at Hell in a Cell despite his torn pectoral injury.

Bianca Belair(c) vs Bayley – Last Woman Standing match for WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Bayley starts with a kick to midsection and whips her to the corner. Bianca kips up and hits a trio of body slams before throwing her to the floor. Bayley brings out a kendo stick. Bianca misses her swings and throws her to the corner and to the floor. Bayley screams at someone in the crowd. Bayley brings out a steel chair now. Bayley avoids a dropkick but misses her swings. Bianca avoids chair shots by jumping here and there before hitting a dropkick against the chair. Bayley rolls to the floor to stand up. Bayley brings up a ladder and drops Bianca’s face into the ropes. Bianca then hits her with dropkick through the ropes. She tries to slam Bayley on the steps but Bayley slips out and pulls her face to the mat using her braids.

Bayley throws Bianca into the barricade before hitting a suplex on the floor. Bayley sets up Bianca on a chair and jumps off the barricade for a flying clothesline. Bianca beats the countdown at 6. Bayley brings out a table. Bayley goes for a suplex through the table but Bianca fights back and hits a suplex on Bayley on the ramp. Both woman are down. Bianca gets to her feet first before Bayley beats the count at 7. Bayley falls off the ramp and acts like she is injured. She takes a cheap shot at Bianca after some acting. She takes Bianca back to the ring and slams a steel chair on her back. Bayley sets up the chair for an elbow drop but Bianca gets up and throws the chair in her face. Bayley hits a neckbreaker on the second rope from the floor.

Bayley traps Bianca behind the steps and slams her face into it. Bayley puts a ladder on top of it. Bianca beats the countdown. Bayley hits Bianca with kendo stick shots. Bianca beats the countdown at 8 this time. Bianca catches the stick and hits it back on Bayley. Bianca picks up the step and throws it towards Bayley. Bayley gets away but Bianca picks her up hit her with a spinebuster on another step. Bayley gets up at 8 and starts running to the back. Bianca unloads on her with kendo stick on the ramp. Bianca breaks the kendo stick on Bayley. Bayley hits a Bayley-to-Belly suplex on the stage. Both women beat the countdown.

Bayley manages to put Bianca inside an equipment case. Bianca gets out of it and catches Bayley with its door. Bayley puts her in crossface and keeps it on until Bianca goes down. Bianca gets up at 8. But, Bayley has brought in a Golf Cart in this time. Bianca hits a dropkick on Bayley while she was sitting in the golf cart. Bayley gets on top of cart and Bianca follows her there. Bianca unloads with ground and pound on top of the golf car. Bianca drives the Golf Cart down the ramp. Bayley catches her braids and Bianca pulls her through her braid and onto the table. The table does not break though. Bianca puts Bayley through the table with a powerbomb. Bayley beats the count at 8. Bianca throws some chairs into the ring.

Bianca hits Bayley with a body slam on the chair. She puts a chair on Bayley’s chest. She goes up to the top but Bayley moves away to send her crashing into the chairs. Bianca beats the count at 8. Bayley hits her with steel chair shots. She them slams Bianca’s face into the chair. Bianca counters and drops Bayley on the chair with KOD. Bianca traps Bayley under the ladder and puts it under the turnbuckle. Bayley is trapped under the ladder and the turnbuckle and could not get out. Bianca gets the win.

We get a video package now for WWE Superstars visiting a school to play soccer.


The arena goes dark now as Bray Wyatt’s entrance starts. The door appears on the stage. Bray Wyatt comes out through it with his lantern in hand. Wyatt walks down to the ring slowly with his lantern in his hand. He blows off the lantern as he gets into the ring. He starts a promo while the light is still off. He says once upon a time he used to do everything to let everyone know who he is when they left. He says he comes from a prestigious family and he always wanted to be great. But great wasn’t enough, he had to be the greatest to be better than them.

Wyatt says he did what he thought he needed to do. He caved in and became a monster. He wore that mask for so long. He could no longer feel the pain and he was untouchable. It felt good and it was impossible to quit. But the monster destroyed him and he was sitting alone in the middle of nowhere. The crowd chants, “We Love You.” Wyatt says nobody loves him. Everyone loves the idea of him. He wants to be remembered as Bray Wyatt as this can’t be his story. He screams, “My name is Bray Wyatt” multiple times until Uncle Howdy appears on the big screen. He says, “Why wear a mask? It hurts to be someone else. You can’t fool me. Do you think they are gonna love you when they would know the truth. Don’t take the mask off. Tell me I am wrong.” Wyatt looks at the screen in a worried manner.

Roman Reigns(c) vs Logan Paul – Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Logan Paul makes his entrance after the video package for this match. Roman makes his grand entrance with Paul Heyman. The bell rings and Roman is just standing there for a while with a smirk on his face. They circle around for a while. They lock up and Roman throws Logan to the corner. They lock up again and Logan manages to push Roman to corner almost before Roman turns it around. Logan pushes Roman off and hits irks The Tribal Cheif. The crowd chants for Logan. Roman goes for a waistlock. Logan takes him down with a waistlock takedown. Roman does the same and then nails him with an uppercut. Logan swings big and Roman slips to the floor to avoid it.

Roman takes his time and works the crowd, not bothered about being counted out. He returns to the ring and puts on a choke on Logan, taking him to the corner. He hits a big shot to midsection before dropping Logan with another shot. Roman hits a suplex to get a two-count. Logan fights out of a headlock and hits the ropes. Logan hits a hip toss and then clotheslines him to the floor. Logan follows him to the floor but Roman sends him into the barricade. Logan hits Roman with a crossbody off the barricade. Logan takes Roman back to the ring and hits the Buckshot Lariat to get a near fall. Roman goes for back body drop but Logan drops his throat on the ropes.

Roman catches him midair with a big uppercut. Roman regroups as Logan is down. Roman kicks him around now. Roman hits a back suplex to get a two-count. He puts on a choke now and keeps Logan to the mat for more than a minute. Logan gets back to his feet and hits body shots. Reigns takes him to the corner and hits corner clotheslines. He drops Logan with a clotheslines in the middle to get a two-count. Roman hits a headbutt to drop him. Roman puts on a camel clutch now and keeps talking trash to Logan. Logan gets to his feet and hits body shots. Roman whips him to the corner before Logan hits him with a gutwrench suplex. Both men are down now.

Logan hits more body shots and clothesline. Roman avoids a body slam. Logan hits a blockbuster from the second rope to get a two-count. Roman kicks to his midsection as Logan takes his time to showboat. Logan though hits back with a Superman punch. Logan kips up now and starts to get hyped up. He goes to the top to hit a crossbody and a standing moonsault to get another two-count. Logan now goes for Sweet Chin Music but Roman counters with Urinage to get a close two-count. Roman signals for the Superman punch but Logan hits another body shot and follows up with a big punch to the face. Logan hits a Superman punch but Roman kicks out.

Roman rolls to the floor. Logan clears the announce table. He puts Roman on it. He takes his phone from his team in the front row and starts the camera. He hits a frog splash on Roman through the table. The Usos run out to check on Roman. Logan’s team start to argue with them. The Usos start to beat them up and bring them to the ring. They hit them with superkicks. Jake Paul’s music hits now and he comes out to the ring. He is alone against The Usos. He knocks out Jey with a punch and then knocks out Jimmy with the other punch. Logan takes Roman to the ring now and hits frog splash. But, Roman kicks out.

Solo Sikoa’s music hits and he comes down the ramp now. Jake Paul is waiting for him. Several officials comes in between them to avoid a brawl. The Usos come behind Jake. Logan takes out the Usos with a suicide dive. Logan returns to the ring and hits Roman nails him with a Superman punch. Roman hits a spear to get the pin.

Winner – Roman Reigns

Roman takes his titles and poses in the ring as the pyro goes off. Jake checks on Logan as he recovers. The Bloodline accompanies Roman as he walks up the ramp. Heyman tells Roman that he acknowledges his Tribal Cheif. Roman poses one more time on the top of the ramp to get the pyro going.
