Women’s Championship Triple Threat Set for AEW Revolution 2023
AEW Women’s Championship triple threat match will see Jamie Hayter defend the title against Saraya and Ruby Soho at AEW Revolution 2023 PPV.
Saraya has been feuding with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter since her arrival to AEW in September. Last month, she teamed up with Toni Storm to defeat Hayter and Baker in a tag team match. Apart from this, both sides have taken verbal shots at each other and have come close to brawling a few times.
Ruby Soho got stuck in the middle of all these. AEW Originals Baker and Hayter have asked them to pick sides in their battle against “Outsiders” in Saraya and Toni Storm. Soho won a triple-threat match against Baker and Storm last week.
The match was set this announced during this week’s Dynamite episode. Jamie Hayter, AEW Women’s Champion, talked about Saraya and said she might deserve a title shot since she has not lost any match since her arrival to AEW. Hayter then added that she would also like to add Ruby Soho to the title match at AEW Revolution 2023.
The match was later made official by AEW, which is the fourth title match to be confirmed for the show. Samoa Joe vs Wardlow for AEW TNT Championship, Tag Team titles fatal 4-way match and an hour-long iron man match for AEW World Championship are also set for the show.
Chris Jericho vs Ricky Starks match was also made official apart from Texas Deathmatch between Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley.
Jamie Hayter won the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW Full Gear 2022 and has defended it just once against Hikaru Shida on December 21 episode of Dynamite. She has also faced The Bunny in Emi Sakura in title elimination matches.
