WWE has made a big Women’s Trios match official for Clash at the Castle 2022 PLE.

Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai will face WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka in a six-women tag team match at the show.

Bayley returned with Sky and Kai alongside her at Summerslam to confront Bianca Belair. Last week, the trio was a menace on RAW as they first attacked an injured Becky Lynch and then interrupted Bliss vs Asuka singles match. Sky faced Bianca in a singles match, but that was also interrupted by Bayley and Kai’s interference.

This week on RAW, Bayley’s trio opened RAW and Bayley explained that her actions has lit a fire in women’s division and that she is trying to turn this women’s division into something that the fans deserve. Bianca, Asuka and Alexa came out to confront them and Bianca challenged them for a trios match.

Bayley accepted the challenge but did not want this match to be on a regular RAW episode. She proposed the match to take place at Clash at the Castle 2022 event. Bianca agreed to the proposal before starting another brawl between the two teams. The match was later made official by WWE.

Before their match at Clash at the Castle, these two teams might come face to face in WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky have made their way to the semifinals of the tournament by defeating Dana Brooke and Tamina this week on RAW. Alexa Bliss and Asuka will face Nikki ASH and Doudrop next week and the winner will face Kai and Sky in the semifinals.

The announcement of the trios match also means that there will be no RAW Women’s Championship match at WWE Clash at the Castle event. SmackDown Women’s Championship match is already confirmed for the show with Liv Morgan defending the title against Shayna Baszler.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre will headline the event on September 3, 2022, at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Keep tuned in for more news and updates from the show.
