USA Network Makes Brian Pillman Jr. Signing With WWE Official
WWE and USA Network has officially announced the signing of Brian Pillman Jr.
As previously mentioned, Brian Pillman Jr.’s contract with AEW expired, leading to his departure from the company in July. It was reported that he subsequently signed with WWE and was expected to begin his journey in NXT at the end of August.
Chris Phelan of the USA Network has announced that the rumors indeed turned out to be true, as Brian Pillman Jr. is set to join WWE. The report also confirmed that the vignette that aired during NXT No Mercy 2023, where someone was watching WCW Saturday Night and Cincinnati Bengals, was in reference to Pillman itself.

Brian’s father, Brian Pillman Sr., did indeed have a brief run in WWF from 1996 to 1997 before his unfortunate passing in October 1997. Prior to his time in WWF, he was a well-known and accomplished wrestling star in WCW.
As of the current information available, there is no official announcement regarding when Brian Pillman Jr. will make his WWE debut. But, it is now set that he will be starting in NXT itself.
Pillman becomes the third wrestler to jump ship from AEW to WWE after Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill. Cargill’s signing came just days ago.
Pillman hasn’t appeared in a televised wrestling match since he got defeated by Swerve Strickland on the February 1 episode of Rampage.
