Update on Boxing Legend Tyson Fury’s WWE Return

Tyson Fury wbc champion

According to the latest reports, Tyson Fury is in talks with WWE regarding his professional wrestling in-ring return.

The Gypsy King was last seen in WWE at the Crown Jewel event in 2019 where he defeated Braun Strauman via count-out. After that, he started focusing back on his boxing career and became the undisputed heavyweight champion.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Fury is in contact with the WWE officials regarding his comeback. However, nothing has been finalized so far.

Tyson Fury has been involved in a war of words with Drew McIntyre several times. Before the pandemic, WWE was even planning an event in the UK with Fury vs McIntyre on the cards. However, the event never took place due to Covid.

Now, WWE is set to host its first premium live event titled “Clash at the Castle” in the UK on September 3. So, it makes sense for them to have a major British celebrity on the cards. Tyson Fury has also shown his interest in competing at this PPV event in Cardiff, Wales.

Tyson Fury has officially announced his retirement from professional boxing after his recent win against Deontay Wilder. He wants to go down in history as the undefeated heavyweight boxer. Since Fury doesn’t have any boxing commitments, he can certainly make a return to professional wrestling.
