Trish Stratus has captured the last spot for the women’s Money in The Bank Ladder match.

On the June 19 episode of WWE Raw, Stratus was in action against Raquel Rodriguez in a qualifier for the final spot for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Raquel Rodriguez dominated the early minutes of the match but Trish made a comeback when Rodriguez missed a spear and crashed in the corner post.

After Raquel made a comeback and was looking strong, Zoey Stark, who was at ringside, ran an interference to help Stratus. This led to Becky Lynch coming out and starting a brawl with Stark. Stratus also came out to save Stark and Lynch accidentally sent her in the barricade. The referee then called for a disqualification, which meant Stratus was declared the winner.

Trish Stratus has joined women’s Money in The Bank Ladder Match which already has Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Bayley, IYO SKY, and Zelina Vega in it. Bayley is set to put her spot on the line against Shotzi on this week’s SmackDown episode(June 23).

Just like Stratus and Stark work together, Bayley and IYO SKY are part of Damage CTRL stable. Becky has been an arch-rival of both factions. Stratus defeated Becky at Night of Champions when Stark came to her aid and hit her with Z-360. The duo had also taken down Becky on a couple of more occasions after that.

Raquel Rodriguez was also not happy with Becky costing her a spot in MITB match. It remains to be seen this starts a rivalry between Raquel and Becky, or if it affects the result of women’s MITB match.

WWE Money in the Bank PPV 2023 event is scheduled for Saturday, July 1, to air live from The O2 Arena in London, England. The event will see both men and women MITB matches along with Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor World Heavyweight title match and The Bloodline Civil War match.
