Torrie Wilson officially announced for WWE Hall of Fame

Torrie Wilson is officially announced for the class of 2019 WWE Hall of Fame.

Earlier a model and a fitness competitor, Torrie Wilson signed with WCW in 1999 where she portrayed the role of valet/manager of many male superstars from nWO and David Flair among others. She began appearing in WWE in the invasion storyline. During 2003-2005 in SmackDown, she had feuds with Jamie Noble, Nidia, Sable and Dawn Marie while also worked as the managers for many male stars. She was traded to RAW in 2005, where she partnered Victoria to feud with Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro. Later, she became part of the heel stable Vince’s Devils before turning face in 2006. Wilson has been on the covers of many magazines including Playboy on which she has been featured twice. Her playboy photoshoots were reference points for feuds many times.

In 2007-08, she worked as a manager for Carlito and Jimmy Wang Yang. She retired from wrestling in 2008 after she took time off due to her back injury and subsequently being released from WWE. Since leaving WWE, she’s returned to her fitness roots and runs her own company, Torrie Wilson Fit. She has also made some sporadic appearances for WWE. Most notable of them coming last year at RAW 25 years episode, the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble and Battle Royal at Evolution event.

The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at Toyota Center in Brooklyn, New York on 6th April.
