Tommaso Ciampa Returns, Beats The Miz on WWE RAW
Tommaso Ciampa made a successful return on WWE RAW this week.
During the June 19 episode of RAW, The Miz announced an open challenge after being frustrated that he was not able to answer to Seth Rollins’s open challenge. Surprisingly, Tommaso Ciampa made an unexpected return and attacked The Miz.
Ciampa dominated the early part of the match before Miz was able to take control with a DDT. However, in the end, Ciampa reversed Miz’s jump off the top with a double knee. He finished off with the Fairy Tale to secure the victory.

Tommaso Ciampa made his comeback in the ring after nine months. His last television match was on RAW, where he teamed up with The Miz and faced AJ Styles and Bobby Lashley. Ciampa and Miz were a team before his injury and Ciampa explained his attack on Miz during the match that he did not hear from Miz a single time during his time away.
Tommaso Ciampa was out from WWE because of his hip injury. He got surgery for his hip labrum in September 2022.
Ciampa is a former two-time NXT Champion and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion with Johnny Gargano. It is rumored that we will see Gargano and Ciampa reunite on WWE RAW also. Keep tuned in for the latest updates.
