WWE Weekly Power Ranking of WWE Superstars- Jan 6 to Jan 12, 2019

WWE has released their weekly power rankings for the week between January 6 to January 12, 2019. Here are the top 5 WWE wrestlers for this week.

#5 Andrade Almas

Almas and Samoa Joe faced Mustafa Ali and Rey Mysterio in a Tag Team Match at SmackDown this week. It was a match with some good back-and-forth action. In the dying minutes of the match, Samoa Joe was taken out by a 619 from Rey Mysterio and a suicide dive from Mustafa Ali. Almas countered another 619 from Rey Mysterio to hit a gutbuster on him. Then, he followed it with a Hammerlock DDT to win the match.

#4 Dean Ambrose

After defending his Intercontinental title for a second week in a row, Dean Ambrose has retained his no. 4 ranking from last week. Ambrose was pinned by Seth Rollins in a tag team match. After this Rollins was granted a title shot against Ambrose in a Falls Count anywhere match. In that match, Ambrose did put up a fight but Rollins dominated most of it. Rollins was about to pin Ambrose when Lashleyattacked him and Ambrose was able to hang on to his title for another week

#3 Bobby Lashley

Lashley was actually attacked by Seth Rollins at the start of RAW this week. Lashley then interrupted a promo between John Cena and McIntyre. Following a brawl at the ringside, a 6-man tag team match took place in which Lashley and his team were defeated by the team of John Cena, Finn Balor, and Seth Rollins. Lashley took his revenge and attacked Rollins during his match against Ambrose. After the match, Lashley sent Rollins through the table to end this week’s RAW episode.

#2 Becky Lynch

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has now earned another chance to regain her title. A triple threat match was arranged between Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Carmella to determine the no 1 contender. All 3 women put up a great match but Becky won that match after she forced Carmella to submit using DisArmHer. She is no. 2 in this week’s ranking and will now face Asuka for the SmackDown women’s title at Royal Rumble.

#1 Sasha Banks

After some surprising turn of events, the no. 1 entry in this week’s ranking is Sasha Banks. RAW women’s champion Ronda Rousey appeared as the guest on the debut of the talk show segment of Alexa Bliss. In the show, Ronda surprised everyone by saying that there is one woman who has pushed everyone to their limits in the locker room, and that person is Sasha Banks. Nia Jax took offence to this and challenged Sasha. they both faced off in a match and Sasha beat Nia. Sasha will now face Ronda for RAW Women’s title at Royal Rumble.
