The Usos are still in a race to become the longest-reigning WWE tag-team champions as they defeated the Brawling Brutes at WWE Crown Jewel 2022

Butch and Jimmy Uso started things off for their teams. Both of them were involved in a back and forth for a while before Jey and Holland got the tag.

Holland displayed his power as he hit body drop to the Usos at the same time. He then paid a tribute to Sheamus by hitting 10 beats at Jey Uso.

The match got several near falls before Jimmy Uso hits Butch with a superkick who was on the top rope, and then he was hit the by the 1D from the top turnbuckle to get the pinfall.

Ridge Holland & Butch of the Brawling Brutes already challenged The Usos once, but the Imperium distracted them by attacking Sheamus and cost them the match. On the October 21 episode of SmackDown, the Bloodline brutally attacked Sheamus and put him on the shelf.

The following week, the Brawling Brutes defeated Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa and made themselves a contender for the titles once again. After that, it was officially announced that Butch and Ridge Holland would be the ones to challenge The Usos for the Unsidputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2022.

The Usos have been chasing the record for the longest-reigning tag team champions which is held by New Day.

The Usos are just 8 days away from becoming the longest reigning tag-team champions. Currently, New Day holds this record, and now the Usos will defend their titles against New Day at the November 11 episode of SmackDown.
