Brackets for TBS Women’s Championship Tournament Revealed on AEW Rampage
On tonight’s episode of Rampage, AEW revealed the participants and the opening matches of the very first TBS Women’s Championship tournament.
Thunder Rosa, Jade Cargill, Nyla Rose, and Kris Stadtlander will be the first-round byes and will face the respective winners of the first round. Currently, these women are the top-ranked performers in the women’s division of AEW and hence they get the bye.
Ruby Soho will go on to face Penelope Ford whereas Red Velvet will square off against The Bunny in the first round of the TBS Women’s Championship tournament. Serena Deeb will challenge Hikaru Shida, and Anna Jay will come face to face against Jamie Hayter in order to advance in the next round of the tournament.

AEW introduced the TBS championship belt earlier this month and revealed that it would be the secondary title in the women’s division. It is also done in order to honor Dynamite’s move from TNT to TBS.
The finals of the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament will take place on January 5, 2022, i.e. the very first day of the move. The first round will begin tomorrow with AEW Dynamite as it is set to feature Ruby Soho vs Penelope Ford.
