Tag Team Turmoil Fixed for World Cup at Crown Jewel 2019
WWE has announced the biggest Tag Team Turmoil Match at Crown Jewel 2019 with the winner getting the World Cup Trophy and to be crowned Best Tag Team in the World.
A Tag Team Turmoil Match is basically just a Gauntlet match for Tag Team. WWE held another Tag Team Turmoil match in August this year to identify the number #1 contender for WWE RAW Women’s Championship. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler won that match to become the #1 contenders and later defeated Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions.
Last year, WWE held a World Cup Tournament for singles stars. Shane McMahon replaced the Miz in the final after the Miz TV host suffered an injury and went on to defeat Dolph Ziggler in the finals to become the first World Cup Winner in the History of WWE. Shane would later use the moniker of the ‘Best in the World’ due to this victory.
This year, instead of a singles competition, WWE has announced a Tag Team Turmoil match to crown a tag team World Cup winner at Crown Jewel 2019. The below teams are confirmed for the match at Crown Jewel 2019:
