Becky Lynch(c) vs Natalya– Submission Match, WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Storyline- Natalya became the no. 1 contender by winning a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match to face Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam. They made quick strides to further the storyline, even using Twitter to take shots against each other. Then last week, Natalya made save on Becky when she was being assaulted by Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. But just after that, Natalya locked her in the Sharpshooter and Becky seemed to have no answer to that. Nattie later challenged Becky to change their showdown to a Submission match.
Prediction- Becky Lynch’s DisArmHer will prove to be too good in front of Natalya’s Sharpshooter.
Kofi Kingston(c) vs Randy Orton – WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Storyline- With dispatching the contenders like Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler and Samoa Joe. Kofi needed a new challenger. And since SummerSlam is a big event, WWE brought him the biggest one available in their roster in Randy Orton. They are trying to build up the match around their storylines from the last 11 years. Kofi accused Orton of using his influence to stop his big push back in 2008 after his debut. In turn, Orton was quick to remind Kofi that if he had not injured Ali before Elimination Chamber, Kofi would never have got his WrestleMania moment.
Prediction- Kofi Kingston will continue to remain the champion after SummerSlam 2019.
Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon
Storyline- After an underwhelming heel run, KO turned face once again as when he stunned Dolph Ziggler. Just next week, he did what everybody thought about doing but nobody actually did. He called out Shane McMahon and WWE on their creative directions and Shane hogging on the limelight at the expense of so many other at WWE. After hitting him 4 stunners in the space of 2 weeks, KO challenged Shane to get into the ring against him at SummerSlam.
Prediction- Kevin Owens to get a statement win, which will lead to Shane McMahon getting written off WWE TV programming hopefully.
Charlotte Flair vs Trish Stratus
Storyline- Charlotte Flair was seemingly frustrated for not being on the SummerSlam card. She was obviously kept away from the title scene but her stature required her to be at the event like SummerSlam. Entered Trish Stratus, who not only is a big name, a legend but also someone who could help her get over even more.
Prediction- The set up is obviously for Charlotte Flair to get a win over the Women’s legend in Trish Stratus.
