WWE has revealed a segment for this Monday’s RAW involving Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon.
Strowman was announced to RAW Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander by teaming up with a mystery partner last week at RAW. Strowman came out to the ring and said that Shane & Adam Pearce are trying to insult him and might be laughing at him somewhere backstage.
Shane McMahon then came out and said he wanted to resolve conflict with Strowman. And since his conflict with the WWE Management, he announced Adam Pearce to partner Strowman in the tag team match. The Monster Among Men agreed but warned Shane that it would be catastrophic if something went wrong.
Strowman dominated Benjamin & Alexander single-handedely, but just as he was about to pin Benjamin, Shane suggested him to tag out to Pearce. Strowman followed the instruction, which resulted in Pearce getting rolled up by Benjamin for a pin.
An angry Strowman then threatened Shane about the loss and told him that any damage on RAW will be on him.
No, WWE has announced a segment for WWE RAW episode of 8 March 2021. WWE wrote that Strowman is asking for an apology from Shane McMahon for costing him the RAW Tag Team title match.
It is expected that the storyline is moving towards a Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon match at WrestleMania 37 in some sort of gimmick match. Stay tuned for the latest updates on the angle and WrestleMania 37.
Braun Strowman returned to RAW last month after serving more than two months of suspension. Upon his return, Strowman confronted Adam Pearce for leaving him out of WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber. He also served an ultimatum to Shane McMahon to fix that up or serve the consequences.
On the fallout RAW episode of Elimination Chamber PPV, Strowman confronted Miz & Lashley and wanted a WWE Championship title shot. Shane McMahon instead gave him a match against Lashley and winning that match would have given him a title shot against Miz. Lashley was able to defeat Strowman in the singles match.
