Sting Announced for Global Pro Wrestling Summit Event in Israel
“The Icon” Sting is set for an upcoming show in Israel for the Global Pro Wrestling Summit.
Haus of Wrestling reported that Global Pro Wrestling Summit, which is scheduled for September 14, has WWE hall of Famer Rikishi and Sting advertised as ambassadors for the event.
More wrestlers and legends are announced for Global Pro Wrestling Summit. El Hijo Del Vikingo, Paul London and Ultimo Dragon will compete in a triple threat match for GPWS Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Rob Van Dam, Frankie Kazarian, and Psycho Clown will compete in a triple threat No Holds Barred match. A 15-man Battle royal is also set, and the winner will get an opportunity for a GPWS World Championship.
Sting recently got injured on the June 28 episode of AEW Dynamite. During the match, Sting jumped from the ladder to put Guevara through the table. However, Sting’s mouth caught the corner of the second table and landed face-first. He also mentioned that he would need a bunch of stitches in his mouth and one of his teeth has been knockout.
