During a discussion on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer expressed his observation that WWE seems to be hinting at a potential matchup between John Cena and Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Championship match at the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

However, it’s important to note that this is not a confirmed report; it is only speculation based on the storyline because Cena’s ongoing feud is going on with The Bloodline.

Cena’s last encounter with Reigns was at SummerSlam 2021, where Reigns defeated Cena to retain the WWE Universal title.

John Cena is also set for the Fastlane 2023 PLE, where he and LA Knight will face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Cena is also scheduled to appear on the October 10 episode of NXT, where he’ll be accompanying Carmelo Hayes. Additionally, Paul Heyman will be present, aligning himself with Bron Breakker.
