Daniel Bryan vs New Day vs Havy Machinery SmackDown Tag Team Championship Extreme Rules 2019

Daniel Bryan and Rowan successfully defended the title against the Heavy Machinery at Stomping Grounds show. However, last week on RAW, we saw Bryan getting pinned by Xavier Woods in the 8-man tag team elimination match. Also, the pair of New Day and Heavy Machinery defeated the team of Bryan and others on SmackDown last week itself.

WWE announced yesterday, before SmackDown, that Bryan and Rowan will be defending their titles at Extreme Rules against the New Day itself. However, during the opening segment of the show, Shane McMahon threw a curveball by putting Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler in a match against the Heavy Machinery. The Winner of the match would have advanced to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match at Extreme Rules 2019.

During the main event of SmackDown, Kevin Owens was hit by a superkick from Ziggler mistakenly. Tucker cleared Ziggler from the ring and they hit the Compactor on Owens to win the match. Extreme Rules will take place on 14 July at Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia.
