Randy leaves the ring but Samoa Joe enters when he reaches the entrance. Their exchange a glance at each other and Randy has decided to stay back for the match between Kofi and Samoa Joe.
Kofi Kinston vs Samoa Joe ends in a DQ
Kingston counters a wristlock and backs Joe to the ropes. Orton watches from ringside as Kofi gets taken down with a fireman’s carry. Joe starts working over his arm with joint manipulation. Kofi kicks him away and they continue to trade holds and counters. Joe plants Kofi with an urinagi for a two count as we head to the commercials.
Kofi starts to make his comeback with quick moves when we return from the break. He hits the Boom Drop and then a springboard forearm. He sets up for Trouble in Paradise but Joe avoids it and Orton runs in for a failed attempt of an RKO on Kingston. The referee calls for the DQ immediately.
Kofi and Orton get ready to fight. As Joe tries to have his say, Orton hits Joe with the RKO and Kofi hits Orton with Trouble in Paradise.
Finn Balor Addresses The Fiend
Finn Balor makes his entry before the break. He is out to address the attack from the Fiend. Kayla Braxton gets into the ring and asks Balor how he got in the crosshairs of Bray Wyatt. Balor is unable to understand any of Wyatt’s action, whether it an old grudge or he is just sick. But Balor has stared fear in the eyes before. He challenges Bray Wyatt to a match at SummerSlam. And suddenly, Firefly Fun House gets started at the screen.
Bray Wyatt appears after the Firefly Fun House intro music alongside Mercy and Ramblin’ Rabbit. He says that Mercy and he are big fans of Finn Balor for his bravery. But the Fiend is not such a big fan. But the Fiend accepts his challenge and Wyatt asks Balor to Let Him In. The screen flickers and the Fiend gets on the screen to repeat the phrase and laughs off as the show cuts to the commercials.
Charlotte Flair has asked for an interview backstage with Kayla Braxton. She is furious that how can they leave her- the woman responsible for the Women’s revolution, the Queen of all time, out of SummerSlam. She demands to be in the SummerSlam match since she is a much better opponent than Ember Moon.
