In another backstage segment, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley tells Ember Moon that she is only getting the match at SummerSlam because she chose her. So, she better not try anything tonight when they will team up.
Aleister Black gets a recorded promo and he is looking for another fight!!
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross defeated Bayley & Ember Moon
Ember and Alexa start with a basic lock-up and wristlock. Bliss attempts a hip toss but Moon lands on her feet. Bayley tags in and drops Bliss onto the top turnbuckle. She hits a dropkick in the corner. Ember takes out Nikki with a suicide dive while Bayley throws Alexa into the barricade.
Nikki unloading on Bayley while she is trapped in the apron. Bliss tags in and hits a sliding dropkick for a two count. Alexa and Nikki use classic double team tactics to keep the SD women’s champion cornered. Cross tags Bliss in and The Goddess attacks her between the ring apron and after getting controlled by Bliss, manages to tag Moon in.
The SmackDown Women’s title challenger hits an exploder suplex on Cross and hits both of them with a hip attack on both of them in the corner. She hits the eclipse on Cross but Bliss throws Moon into the turnbuckle and gets the Twisted Bliss for the pin and the win.
After the match, Bayley gets into the ring and hits Bayley to Belly on Ember to vent some of her frustration.
Sami Zayn is at SmackDown and gets an interview with Kayla Braxton. He tells us that he is here to scout the competition but could not find any. Then, out of the blue, he brings out the subject of Aleister Black and how desperate he is, to be asking someone to pick a fight. He challenges him for SummerSlam.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan meet Kayla Braxton to make his career-altering announcement. But once again, he says nothing and leaves.
The King’s Court with Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus makes her way for the King’s Court with Jerry Lawler. They start by talking about Stratus being on vacation and miss the RAW Reunion. Lawler asks her that so many of the WWE superstars at RAW Reunion were wanting to have one last match and if Stratus also has the itch for one last match. Trish Stratus says that she will never not have the itch, but she’s a mom now and it makes things difficult for her.
Charlotte Flair interferes. Charlotte Flair says that the idea of her “being a mother” is a lame excuse and she challenges Stratus to compete in front of her hometown crowd. Charlotte issues the challenge and tells her that times have changed because she can’t hang with the women of today. She tells Stratus to get out of the ring and change diapers.
Stratus says that she respects Flair, but right now, she’s being a b***h. There would not have been any trailblazing from Flair if she, Lita, Beth Pheonix have not started it. She tells her that to be the woman, Flair has to beat the woman and accepts the challenge.
