Firefly Fun House with Universal Title Belt
We get to see how the Fiend attacked Daniel Bryan last week on SmackDown. We get a short Firefly Fun House. The WWE Universal Championship is sitting in front of the table. Wyatt tells us that something is odd here. He gets an epiphany and turns into a magician. He has now changed the WWE Universal Championship title belt into blue. And he tells us to continue to watch SmackDown since his favorite show, the Miz TV is coming up. And the special guest is going to be Daniel Bryan. He will be watching, and so will the Fiend.
Powerpoint Presentation with Braun Strowman
After the break, we see Corbin, Roode and Ziggler discussing something backstage. We see the replay of Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury’s segment last week where Strowman squashed the B-Team. Strowman’s music hits and he comes out. Drew Gulak and the B-Team are already in the ring. The match is between Strowman and Gulak and the winner will get into the SmackDown’s Survivor Series team. Before they could start, Gulak tells Strowman that he has a new presentation, a simple one. The slide says Drew Gulak saves SmackDown and Gulak tells Strowman that he lasted longer than he thought against Tyson Fury. Strowman attacks him but all three of them try to overpower him. The Monster among men takes each of them down with his power slams and splashes.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with The New Day. Kofi Kingston says they won these titles in honor of the injured Xavier Woods, and they will defend them in honor of him tonight. Big E does The New Day’s introduction as their music hits and they head to the ring.
Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura catch Daniel Bryan while he was strolling backstage. Zayn is still trying to talk Bryan into joining him, Nakamura and Cesaro. Especially since the Fiend is now keeping an eye on Bryan. Bryan retorts and asks him if he wants to help him, why did he run away last week when he was attacked by the Fiend. Zayn makes some excuses and Bryan says he is not gonna join them. But he knows someone who might be perfect- Braun Strowman. Zayn says Strowman is just a big man and has no brain…. something along this line. Strowman was behind Zayn all this time and Zayn changes his line. He runs away with Nakamura.
The New Day vs The Revival WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
Kofi and Wilder start the match with the usual exchange. Dawson gets the tag and hits a nice suplex, dropping Kofi onto the ropes for a two-count. He puts Kingston on the top turnbuckle for a superplex but Kofi counters and hits a dropkick. Wilder tags in and prevents Big E from getting the tag as we go towards the break.
Kofi hit a side suplex on Wilder. But Dawson cuts off the tag and hits a spinning neckbreaker. He goes for a flying elbow but Kofi rolls out. Both men tag their partners and Big E hits a few belly-to-belly suplexes. The Revival uses some double team moves to take Big E down for a near fall. Wilder picks up Big E on his shoulders but he breaks free. Big E and Dawson double clothesline each other at the same time. Kingston and Wilder get the tag Kofi takes the upper hand with a dropkick from the top rope. He sends both members of The Revival out of the ring and hits a big dive.
Dawson and Big E dodge some strikes but Dawson spikes Big E with a DDT for another two-count. The Revival throws Kofi into the ring post and slams Big E on the announce table. They hit Big E with the Shatter Machine but Kofi breaks up the pin with a splash at the last second. Roderick Strong and Adam Cole come out of nowhere and attack Kofi to cause a DQ. Fish and O’Reilly attack from the other side of the ring. The Undisputed Era goes running when the locker room empties to help New Day and The Revival.
