More Firefly Fun House!
We see Daniel Bryan thinking backstage. Kayla Braxton asks if he’s ready to answer the challenge from WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt. We cut to a Firefly Fun House segment. Huskus The Pig Boy ate too much at Thanksgiving dinner. Wyatt tells Huskus everything he knows about Thanksgiving is a lie. He goes on about a Thanksgiving story that leads to a new “Muscle Man” music video, which will show us how to be “phat” again. Huskus raps as “Muscle Man” Wyatt dances to an 80’s hip-hop beat.
The Fiend flashes in a few times as we see Bryan watching backstage on a TV screen. Wyatt just wants to be let in. He screams about not letting The Reptilians in or they will take over. Wyatt wants to be let in, The Fiend wants to be let in. Let him in. The segment abruptly ends. Kayla is backstage with Bryan as we hear a “yes!” chant coming from the crowd. Kayla asks Bryan if he’s up for the challenge and he just stares off.
Nikki Cross vs Sonya Deville
As Nikki Cross enters the ring, Mandy Rose says Nikki looks like a cold plate of leftovers and mocks her. Sonya decks Cross with a stiff right hand to start the match. She keeps Cross grounded in a rear chinlock. Nikki makes a comeback and hits a running bulldog. Rose distracts her so Sonya can bring Nikki down from the top rope. Cross rolls her up with an inside cradle for the pin and the win.
Winner- Nikki Cross
Rose and Deville attack Cross after the match. Alexa Bliss’ music hits and she runs down to make the save for her partner. She throws Sonya out of the ring and gives some beating to Mandy. Nikki catches Mandy’s leg as Alexa slaps Mandy across the face.
Dana Brooke is backstage and Drake Maverick approaches her. He hits on her and Dana asks isn’t he married already. He says it’s complicated. But the segment is for something else. We suddenly hear a guitar being played and the crowd cheers for Elias. Dana asks him where he has been. He says he was on a journey- outwards and inwards. And he is a changed man. He tells us to hold the applause and asks Maverick to shut up. He starts strumming the guitar and singing a song that says he is back for Christmas.
New Day’s Thanksgiving Open Challenge
SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day – Kofi Kingston and Big E, are out. Big E tells us what he had on Thanksgiving- turkey, pie, peas, etc. They go on about Thanksgiving and plugs in some Black Friday deals on WWE. They go on and announce tonight’s Open Challenge. The music interrupts and WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro come out with Sami Zayn.
Sami takes the mic and tells The New Day to shut up. He’s sick of them glamorizing a holiday like Thanksgiving and then Black Friday and shames everyone for participating in the holiday. He says it’s time that the SmackDown Tag Team Titles are held by men who can see past the nonsense, which is why Cesaro and Nakamura are here to answer the bell tonight.
