WWE SmackDown 22 January 2020 Ratings: No Drop in Second Hour

This week’s WWE SmackDown episode saw growth in TV viewership as the road to Royal Rumble 2021 continues.

22 January 2021 edition of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.383 million viewers on FOX Network, as per the report from Showbuzz Daily. The overnight numbers released on Saturday were at 2.282 million.

This is 5% up from the last week’s final number of 2.262 million viewers.

When talking about the demographic numbers, the show scored 0.63 in 18-49 demo. This is similar to last week’s numbers. The show was at #2 in 18-49 demo, only behind Shark Tank which topped with 0.82.

25-54 demo was at 0.78 rating, down from 0.82 from last week. 18-34 demo was at 0.34 rating as compared to 0.36 from last week.

SmackDown was #8 in overall viewership after Blue Bloods, Magnum P.I., MacGyver, Shark Tank, The Blacklist, Dateline NBC and 20/20 on 22 January 2021.

This week’s SmackDown featured the advertised main event between WWE Official Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman(Roman Reigns’ Special Counsel). However, that match was changed to Roman Reigns vs Adam Pearce and ended with a brawl between Kevin Owens and Reigns.

The show also featured an Intercontinental Championship rematch between Big E & Apollo Crews, an obstacle course contest between Bayley and Bianca Beliar, Sasha Banks vs Reginald intergender match, and more. You can check this post for the complete results from 22 January 2021 SmackDown episode.
