Hikaru Shida won AEW Women’s Championship by defeating Saraya at October 10, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite.

Saraya was scheduled to protect his championship against Shida in the AEW Dynamite episode that aired on October 10th. Towards the conclusion of the match, Saraya attempted his third Knight Cap, but Shida countered and executed a Falcon Arrow.

Saraya, in turn, managed to reverse the pinfall attempt, but Shida countered yet again and secured the pinfall victory. With her victory in the match, Shida has now won the AEW Women’s Championship third time.

During the match, Ruby Soho attempted to intervene, but Toni Storm chased her away by using a shoe. Saraya’s championship reign lasted for a total of 45 days. She initially secured the title in a four-way match at AEW All-In, which also included Shida, Toni Storm, and Britt Baker.

Saraya had only managed to secure one successful title defense, which took place when she defeated Toni Storm at AEW Dynamite GrandSlam.

During the October 10, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, another title change occurred as Orange Cassidy emerged as the new AEW International Champion by defeating Rey Fenix.
