Samoa Joe vs Wardlow Set for AEW Revolution 2023

Wardlow is coming back for his TNT championship. 

Samoa Joe’s next title challenge has been announced and it will be against none other than his former tag team partner Wardlow at AEW’s next PPV event Revolution 2023. 

Samoa Joe defeated Darby Allin on the February 1 episode of Dynamite to become 2-time TNT champion. Wardlow confronted him following the match. 

Samoa Joe and Wardlow have been feuding ever since Joe turned on Wardlow. Joe defeated Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs at AEW Full Gear 2022 to win the TNT title. After that, he also beat Wardlow in singles action at AEW New Year’s Smash event. 

Joe crossed the line when he cut Wardlow’s ponytail. This week, Wardlow sit down with Jim Ross to and revealed that Joe knew his hairstyle’s significance. Wardlow’s father had the same ponytail and beard when he passed away due to cancer. 

Now, Warlow is here to get the payback by taking away Joe’s TNT title at AEW Revolution 2023. Will Joe be able to stop Wardlow from becoming a two-time TNT champion? 

AEW Revolution is set to air on March 5, 2023, and will feature MJF vs Bryan Danielson Ironman match in the main event. Jon Moxley vs Hangman Page Texas Deathmatch is also set for the show.
