Bobby Lashley & Ruby Riott Underwent Surgery This Week
Bobby Lashley and Ruby Riott have undergone surgery earlier this week for their respective injuries.
It has been previously reported that Ruby Riott had to undergo surgery on her shoulder, leading to her time off of television. However, Ruby Riott had to go under the knife for the second time to eradicate the issues completely. Riott posted the pictures from her shoulder surgery over Instagram earlier this week.
Rudy Riott has been absent from WWE TV ever since WrestleMania. During the WWE Superstar draft, the Riott Squad was disbanded when Liv Morgan was drafted to SmackDown while Sarah Logan and Riott remained on RAW. They last appeared together at WWE Network Special the Shield’s Last Chapter.
Reportedly, Bobby Lashley also had surgery this week itself. As per ProWrestling Sheet, Lashley was suffering from an issue with a bone chip in his elbow. The procedure was a minor one but Lashley is only likely to be returned in November.
Lashley was last seen in action at Monday Night RAW on 15 July where he was part of the Cross Brand Battle Royal for the no. 1 contender to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Prior to that, Lashley was in a feud with Braun Strowman where he lost each and every match apart from one Falls Count Anywhere match at RAW which ended in a Disqualification after an accident.
Last week, Fightful reported that they had accessed a list of injured Superstars and when they are expected to be back. Jeff Hardy, Jinder Mahal, Nia Jax, and Tamina are among the other main roster superstars who are currently out with an injury.
