Roman Reigns vs King Corbin Announced for WWE TLC 2019
WWE has announced a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match between Roman Reigns and King Baron Corbin at WWE TLC 2019 show.
The things between Roman and Corbin have been rough ever since Corbin’s General Manager stint on RAW last year. But the rivalry gathered steam once again after Corbin started a campaign against Reigns for him to be removed from the captaincy of SmackDown’s Survivor Series team.
They had a match at SmackDown episode from Manchester, England where Corbin was able to take the win after multiple distractions. Corbin then used a Big Dog Mascot and many other tactics to take shots at Roman. Corbin also tried to undermine Roman’s authority with SmackDown’s team as well as worked against his own team at Survivor Series. This led to Roman Reigns hitting him with a spear and, in turn, his elimination from the match at Survivor Series.
Earlier it was speculated that Roman and Corbin would be booked in a Dog Collar match at TLC. However, WWE has now announced that they will face-off in a traditional Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at TLC 2019.
Roman Reigns faced Dolph Ziggler at SmackDown this week in a winning effort. After this win, Corbin and Ziggler, along with Corbin’s security members, ganged up on Roman and went on to throw canned dog food over him.
WWE TLC 2019(Tables, Ladders & Chairs) will take place on 15 December 2019 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The updated card for the show is as follows:
- WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match – The New Day (c) vs The Revival
- TLC Match – Roman Reigns vs King Corbin
- WWE Universal Championship Match – Bray Wyatt(c) vs The Miz
