Tag Team Title & More Matches Announced for 1 November SmackDown
WWE has announced 3 matches for Friday Night SmackDown episode of 1 November 2019 with Roman Reigns in action, SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The Revival & the New Day, and a 6 women tag team match. Bray Wyatt was also announced for the Miz TV special feature.
Xavier Woods and Big E, from the New Day, lost the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to the Revival at Clash of Champions 2019 show. But even after that loss, the feud between the teams continued. Although, The New Day has lost Xavier Woods to an injury earlier in the week and he will be replaced by former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston when they will compete for the titles.
Roman Reigns led his team to a victory in the main event of this week’s SmackDown episode. Reigns appeared at WWE Backstage special episode after SmackDown via video call, where he was attacked by King Corbin. Later in the show, Renee Young announced the match between Roman Reigns and King Corbin in the main event of the 1 November 2019 edition of the show.
Nikki Cross became the no. #1 contender for SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bayley last week. She was once again in action this week in a singles match against Mandy Rose and came out with the win. Nikki will once again be in the action next week as part of the 6 women tag team match. She will be joined by Carmella and Dana Brooke to take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville.
1 November 2019 edition of Friday Night SmackDown will air from the Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York. Below is the current line-up for the show:
