ROH World TV Title Eliminator Tournament Set for #1 Contender
ROH delivered a tournament on July 27 for the ROH World TV Championship for the number one contender spot.
In the presence of Samoa Joe, Stokely Hathaway, a member of the ROH Board of Directors, declared that Samoa Joe will defend his Ring of Honor World Television Championship against the winner of an upcoming Eliminator tournament.

The tournament started on July 27 with 4 quarterfinal(1st round) matches. The results from quarterfinals are as below:
- Christopher Daniels def. JD Drake
- Gravity def. Anthony Henry
- Tony Nese def. Cheeseburger
- Shane Taylor def. Serpentico
The semi-final bracket of the tournament has not yet been announced by ROH.
Samoa Joe recently defeated Dalton Castle at the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV event to retain his ROH Television Championship.
