RK-BRO Wins Raw Tag Team Championship At SummerSlam 2021
RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Matt Riddle) are the new Raw Tag Team champions after defeating AJ Styles & Omos at WWE SummerSlam 2021.
SummerSlam 2021 kicked off things with a banger. In the inaugural match of the biggest party of the summer, Randy Orton and Matt Riddle challenged AJ Styles and Omos for the Raw tag team belts.
After a back and forth match, AJ Styles missed the phenomenal forearm and Randy Orton quickly hit the RKO to get the pin. With this pinfall victory, RKBro became the new Raw Tag Team Champions and it was certainly a huge moment for Matt Riddle.
AJ Styles and Omos won the championship belts at WrestleMania 37 but today RKBro breaks their 133 days reign to become the new champions.
RK-Bro reunited this Monday after Riddle saved Orton from an attack by AJ & Omos. After his effort, Orton agreed to Riddle’s continued request to reunite the tag team and immediately challenge for the title.
In an interview later in the show, Riddle has said that he has surprised planned for Orton on RAW next week.
