TKO Group Holdings

Following the TKO merger, WWE’s approach towards contract renewal has undergone notable changes.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that WWE is facing a substantial number of contracts expiring in 2024 and that there have been notable shifts in their approach to contract renewals.

Fightful has revealed that many talents, including several top stars, have not been contacted about contract extensions. WWE signed numerous wrestlers to deals in 2019 that are now expiring, and some shorter-term contracts are due in 2024.

Several stars like Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Sheamus and many others have contracts set to expire in the upcoming year. There may be many other talents whose contracts may be up in the coming year. But, WWE is yet to make new offers to them.

According to Fightful, talent anticipated earlier that negotiations for the new deals would start after the Endeavor merger process. However, offers have yet to materialize, leaving many stars in anticipation.

WWE Superstars are eagerly awaiting the effects of this merger on future negotiations, with a particular interest in whether offers will rise, fall, or stay in line with pre-merger figures.
