Angel Garza and Andrade have become the number #1 contenders for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship against Street Profits at SummerSlam 2020.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are completing 5 months as the tag team champions on WWE’s RAW brand. They first feuded with Seth Rollins and Murphy at the start, whom they defeated to win the titles. Later, they had a long and stretched out feud with The Viking Raiders after WrestleMania.
Now, the Street Profits are possibly entering another major feud in the tag team division against Angel Garza and Andrade. They were earlier supposed to face the pair at WrestleMania, but an injury to Andrade saw him replaced with Austin Theory at the event.
However, the Mexican pair is now back in contention after winning the #1 contender match at RAW this week. The Viking Raiders and Ricochet & Cedric Alexander were the teams that Garza & Andrade overcame to book their place for SummerSlam 2020.
Talking about RAW’s tag team division- the situation looks grim with no other team insight in contention for the title apart from the ones involved in triple threat #1 contender match.
The Viking Raiders are looking to be stuck in a rut from a creative perspective and WWE management seems to be confused about what needs to be done with them.
