The OC is backstage talking about Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar. AJ promises to run through Rollins tonight and says one day Rollins will be a great champion. AJ says he leads by example and after tonight the WWE Universe will know who the real champion is. They hold up the “too sweet” sign to end the segment.
Robert Roode defeated No Way Jose
Roode backs Jose to the corner and stomps him into the mat. He hits a big spinebuster followed by the Glorious DDT for the pin and the win.
Charly Caruso is backstage with Paul Heyman now. Heyman mocks Charly and brings up his tweet from earlier today, which said WWE confirmed that Brock Lesnar will get no rematch. Heyman goes on but is suddenly at a loss for words. Heyman turns and walks back into Lesnar’s room, ending the interview.
The Revival vs Lucha House Party ended in a No-Contest
Wilder takes control right away. He tags in Dawson to hit a few leg drops. He mocks Lucha House Party’s chant before hitting a side suplex for a two count. Dorado tried to fight up off the mat but Dawson takes it to the corner for a tag and a double team. Dorado takes them both down with a moonsault.
R-Truth’s music hits and he runs down the ramp being chased by Drake Maverick and a ton of other Superstars. Carmella trips Drake Maverick but others corner Truth. He gets into the ring and the Revival hit their finisher on Truth and pin him together to become co-champions. Lince Dorado hits a head-scissor on Dawson but Wilder takes him out of the ring. Carmella rolls Truth over Dawson for Truth to regain the belt.
Truth and Carmella run backstage and tails off the other stars by returning back to the ramp. They escape to behind and Truth tells us that he is now a more times champion that Ric Flair and John Cena combined. Elias sneaks behind him and hits him with a guitar. He gets the pin and becomes a 3-time champion.
Sasha Banks Returns
Natalya enters after we get to see the highlights from her match against Becky last night. She has a cast on her arm. She says she taps out and admits Becky was the better woman. This is where she’s supposed to take back what she said about Becky but she doesn’t regret a damn thing. Natalya says she has a dislocated elbow and will be undergoing an MRI tomorrow. Natalya says Natalya doesn’t know when or where, but she says she and Becky will do this again.
Natalya now wants to share something special with the fans. She recalls how her dad, the late WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart said he was proud of her. Natalya says today marks one year since The Anvil died. The music interrupts and out comes Sasha Banks making her return. She comes to the ring and hugs Natalya. After an emotional moment, she decks Natalya.
She takes off a pink wig to reveal new blue hair. She starts unloading on Natalya and goes after her injured arm. The crowd chants ‘Thank You Sasha’ as she throws Natalya into the steps. Becky Lynch’s music hits and she gets an even bigger pop. They brawl evenly for a bit. That is until Sasha sends her crashing into the barricade. ‘This is Awesome’ chants start as Sasha grabs a steel chair and unloads it on Becky’s back.
The Viking Raiders defeated Carter Mason and Sebastian Suave
We get a sidebar video with Erik and Ivar talking about how they have been dominating RAW and everyone will fall. The bell rings and Erik & Ivar start hitting power moves and double team moves on both opponents. Ivar takes care of one opponent while Erik sends another one into the barrier outside with a big charging kick. Erik returns to the ring and they hit the double team Viking Experience on the other jobber for the easy pin.
Charly Caruso is backstage with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. They are confident about retaining over The Kabuki Warriors tonight. Alexa Bliss says they get results when it’s them against the world.
