PAC was Scheduled for AEW All Out Before Moxley Injury
As per the report from PWInsider, PAC was already scheduled to appear on AEW All Out 2019 in some capacity even before he replaced Jon Moxley in the match against Kenny Omega.
Jon Moxley announced on last Friday that he would no longer be competing at AEW All Out 2019 event due to an MRSA infection. A few hours later, AEW went on to announce PAC as his replacement to face Kenny Omega at the show. As per Fightful Select, the higher hierarchy of AEW was made aware of Moxley’s diagnosis on last Wednesday, 21 August. And they moved quickly to get Moxley replaced by PAC at All Out.
“AEW sent word on a need to know basis on Wednesday that Moxley would be out of All Out.”

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is also reporting that AEW already had plans for PAC to be at the event. He was supposed to make a surprise appearance at the show. And the company was able to shift it into a wrestling role due to Moxley not being able to compete.
PAC was earlier scheduled to face Adam “Hangman” Page at AEW Double or Nothing but later withdrew due to creative differences. After losing the Open the Dream Gate Championship, it seems like he is now onboard with AEW’s creative direction. It is entirely possible that PAC could have interfered in Page’s AEW World Championship match against Chris Jericho at All Out, but we will never know anything about that for the time being.
On the other hand, Jon Moxley is expected to be out of action for 4 weeks. He is now also out of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport event on 14 September. AEW is hopeful Moxley will be cleared for the TNT debut on 2nd October.
