Will Ospreay’s opponent now revealed for IMPACT Bound For Glory 2023 PPV event, marking his return to the promotion after a seven-year absence.
IMPACT Wrestling officially announced that Will Ospreay will clash with Mike Bailey at IMPACT Bound For Glory 2023 PPV event.

Ospreay’s recent match was at NJPW Road To Destruction 2023 event where he was part of the 10-man tag team match. In this match, the United Empire (Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan, HENARE, Jeff Cobb, and Will Ospreay) emerged victorious by defeating Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito, and Yota Tsuji).
Mike Bailey’s most recent match for IMPACT Wrestling took place during the IMPACT 1000 episode. He participated in the Ultimate X match, which ultimately saw Alan Angels emerge as the winner.
Ospreay and Bailey have faced each other in singles competition on four occasions throughout their careers. Ospreay has secured three victories and Bailey has won 1. Their most recent encounter took place at RevPro Ten Year Anniversary event on August 20, 2022.
Ospreay is also scheduled to compete at IMPACT Turning Point, which is set to take place on October 27, 2023.
IMPACT Bound for Glory PPV event is scheduled for October 21, 2023, and it will be live from Cicero Stadium in Chicago, IL. This is the first match announced for the event.
