Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano
They circle each other, lock up and come to a stalemate. They trade locks next. Balor wraps his legs around Gargano’s neck and does some push-ups to mock Gargano. Gargano gets out of it and hits a dropkick. Gargano with a headlock now. Balor tries to break it with a roll-up. Gargano hits a couple of more dropkicks and a kick to the jaw during the roll-up. An arm-twist is transitioned into a knee to the elbow.
Balor gets Gargano down with an ax handle. Prince hits a chop and a shoulder tackle. He whips Gargano from corner to corner, hitting chops each time. Gargano gets his boot up to break the series. They dodge each other near the ropes and Gargano ends up hitting a spear on Balor on the apron. He hits a few chops near the barricade before throwing Balor back into the ring. Balor comes up with a sling blade on the floor and follows with a knee.
Back in the ring, Balor keeps control. He hits a basement dropkick to get a two-count. Balor puts Gargano in a stretch/lock. Johnny Wrestling/Let’s Go Prince chants are going around in the crowd. Gargano comes out of the lock with a jawbreaker.
Balor sweeps his leg and puts a lock on to put more pressure on it. He wraps Gargano’s leg around the rope and continues to work on it. Gargano gets him in a cradle for two-count. Balor now puts a new submission maneuver on Gargano’s leg. Gargano had to hit chops and punches to force him to break the lock.
Gargano follows with enziguiri, a suplex and a roundhouse kick in quick succession. He goes for the tope suicide but Balor catches him for 1916 DDT. Gargano avoids it and hits a senton from the apron. A slingshot spear gets Gargano a near fall. Gargano jumps off the top but Balor counters with an inverted headlock elbow drop for two-count. Gargano goes to the floor and but his DDT is blocked. 1916 is also blocked and Gargano hits Lawn Dart.
Pele kick crumbles Gargano over Balor for two-count. Gargano on the apron and Balor in the ring. They trade strikes for some time from there. Gargano goes for the slingshot spear but is caught by Balor. Balor goes to the top for the Coupe de’ Grace which is avoided by Gargano. Gargano hits a slingshot DDT for a two-count. Gargano dodges Coup de Grace and transitions into Garga-No Escape. Finn rolls away but Gargano keeps the hold. Balor hits the double stomps to break the hold.
Balor goes for 1916 DDT but Gargano puts him in Garga-No Escape once again. The action spills to the floor and Balor hits the shotgun dropkick into the barricade! Johnny clears the Spanish announce desk but Finn sends him into the table with a gourdbuster. Shotgun dropkick on the table and then back into the ring. Coup de Grace from the top and 1916 DDT to get the win.
