WWE has announced that the next NXT Takeover event, which was supposed to take place on 8 June in San Jose, is now rescheduled to 1 June. Cathy Kelley made the announcement via video over the social media. More details regarding the event like location, ticket sales, etc will be announced on coming Monday by Triple H on his social media accounts.
All the WWE event have been rescheduled due to WWE’s Saudi Arabia Event being shifted to 7 June from 3 May. WWE’s Backlash event, which was on 16 June as per earlier reports, is now likely changed with a new event named Stomping Ground on 23 June instead. In the same series of changes, the Takeover: San Jose event is now also preponed to 1 June.

NXT held the TV tapings for this month’s episodes at their base in Full Sail University last night where two matches were announced for the NXT Takeover event in June. First was the rematch from NXT Takeover: New York for the NXT Championship between Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole while the other match was the fatal 4-way match for the NXT Tag Team titles.
