- NXT General Manager William Regal is in the ring for the contract signing between NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits and The Undisputed Era at TakeOver: Toronto II.
- Both teams enter and cut promos. Bobby Fish says Profits are not on their level and they stand no chance at leaving TakeOver with the title. He says they are better in the ring and are funnier. Profits answered with a passionate promo saying they might be the best tag team ever in NXT. Dawkins says The Street Profits are gonna “beat that ass, and that is undisputed.” Both teams sign the contract and leave.
- Hype Video package for the North American title Triple Threat match between Velveteen Dream, Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne at TakeOver Toronto.
- Shane Thorne defeated Joaquin Wilde with a pinfall. Thorne slammed Wilde into the ring post and the steel steps during the end of the match and hit the running knee in the ring to get the win.
- The feud between Io Shirai and Candice LeRae is recapped before their match at TakeOver: Toronto this Saturday.
- Killian Dane attacks Matt Riddle at the ringside before their scheduled match. The match never starts. Possibly scheduled for TakeOver Pre-show.
- Video package looking back at the NXT Breakout Tournament. The final between Jordan Myles vs Cameron Grimes is scheduled for next week(taped before the main card of Takeover Toronto).
- Also, next week is Breezango taking on the Forgotten Sons.
- An elaborate video package of NXT Champion Adam Cole vs Johnny Gargano as they two will meet in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.
- Johnny Gargano gets a video with former NXT Champions Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. Anther former NXT Champ Kevin Owens says Cole will retain the title despite Gargano being so good. William Regal and Tyler Breeze say the contest is too close to call.
- Cole says nobody will get in his way as he becomes the greatest NXT Champion ever as we see clips of him defending the title at various arenas. Gargano says he is taking Cole to hell and winning that championship back.
