NXT Superstars have continued to invade SmackDown with the Survivor Series 2019 coming near.

This year’s Survivor Series will be the first event where NXT will also be part of the battle for Brand supremacy. And NXT roster does not look to be in the mood take it easy despite the fact that they will be having the NXT TakeOver WarGames 2019 event just a day before Survivor Series.

This week at SmackDown, The New Day duo were defending their SmackDown Tag Team Championship against the Revival. At one point in the match, The Revival seemed to have got the win when they had sent Kofi Kingston into the ring post and hit Big E with the Shatter Machine. But Kofi came in, just in time to break the pin.

The match then had to come to a premature end as the Undisputed ERA attacked all four participants in the match. As they looked to keep up with the attack, Heavy Machinery and the rest of the SmackDown came out to make the save. The Undisputed ERA(NXT) will face the New Day(SmackDown) and the Viking Raiders(RAW) in the Interbrand tag team champions match at Survivor Series.

Nikki Cross needed to get the win over SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in order to qualify for the SmackDown’s Women’s Team for Survivor Series. But that match also did not come to any conclusion when NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler attacked Bayley. As Bayley tried to run away from the crowd, Rhea Ripley and other members from NXT cut her off.

SmackDown Women’s team came out to make the save on Bayley before engaging in an 8 women tag team match. In the end, Nikki Cross might have proven her worth as she finished off the match by pinning Dakota Kai and win the match for SmackDown’s team.
