NXT Gold Rush: Dolin vs James & Heritage Cup Match Added to Night 2

WWE has officially added three more matches for the second week of NXT Gold Rush 2023 event.

Gallus (Wolfgang and Mark Coffey) will face Edris Enofe and Malik Blade to defend NXT Tag Team Championship. Gigi Dolin will face Kiana James, and Nathan Frazer will defend his NXT Heritage Cup against Dragon Lee.

During the first week of NXT Gold Rush on June 20, a video package aired for Gigi Dolin where she talked about rejections from her loved one and faced many challenges in her life while also talking about art. Later, Kiana James took a shot at Dolin about her affection for bright color. She added that she had a reckless phase during her younger phase, but she was now driven by results. Later, WWE confirmed a singles match between them.

Nathan Frazer will NXT Heritage Cup for the first time as he faces Dragon Lee on night 2 of NXT Gold Rush. Frazer won the title last week when Oro Mensah defended it on behalf of an injured Noam Dar. Lee was in Frazer’s corner during the match. Lee also challenged for the title at Battleground 2023, but failed to win.

Frazer was backstage with Lee this week on NXT and said Lee deserves the first shot at his title. The match was later confirmed for next week.

On night 1 of NXT Gold Rush, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe defeated Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and Hank Walker & Tank Ledger to become the #1 Contenders for NXT Tag Team Championship. They will now challenge Gallus for the titles next week. The complete line-up for the night 2 of NXT Gold Rush is as below:
